Re: Dreamstation2 received - you returning your DS1 to Phillips? (and complaints)

The advice about turning the D2 around so the tube connects out the back and the water tank is facing front has turned out to be great advice. And it's much easier to pull out the tank, remove the lid, and add water with it this way, though it is still not as convenient as simply opening up the tank...

Re: Dreamstation2 received - you returning your DS1 to Phillips? (and complaints)

Second - On to the complaints: - messed up water tank having to be removed from the back end of the unit to fill (and it's not even that easy to remove and replace) - how absurd - non-adjustable fixed hose connection - how absurd - unintuitive settings adjust - I can't get some of them to even take...

Dreamstation2 received - you returning your DS1 to Phillips? (and complaints)

First, I received my DS2 4 days ago. It's working, it's smaller and it's a bit quieter and that's about the only good things about it. There's a return label to send back your DS1 to Phillips. Are you returning? Is there a consequence for not returning it as far as you can tell? I saw a post on the ...

Re: Difficult to find distilled water?

Be sure to check the cleaning products aisle at your local grocer. When it's out in the drinks aisle, I pop over to the cleaning products aisle and there always seems to be some there.

Re: Liquicell Multiple Use

I continue to have "bridge of nose" issues and soreness most every night. In fact, my compliance has gone down because of it. Facemasks don't work for me. I'm going to try an N30 setup. However, I was using liquicell and found I could get just as much relief and much cheaper by using bandaid "sport...

If you downsize from a medium to a size small, do you need a new headgear piece too?

Re: 5 months on CPAP but not a lot feeling improved. What now from here?

I'm at max 20mm,but 90% of the time I'm at 9mm. I don't feel like I'm any better rested and don't wake up refreshed. I didn't seek treatment due to feeling tired. I sought treatment because my wife couldn't sleep and noticed apnea. But my numbers show I'm doing well and my wife appreciates I don't s...

Re: Nose bridge problems with Airfit N20, any helpful advice?

I have finally settled in now with no morning nose pain, and only some slight red morning nose. Took a lot of trial and error and $$. I am using the Bandaid brand sport bandages (wide and extra padding) on my nose every night combined with a pad-a-cheek cover for the N20. I also ordered liquid fille...

Re: Resmed N20 mask

I was fitted for a medium N20. It was causing terrible pain on the bridge of my nose and red-nose in the morning. I went on ebay and bought a new in plastic large size N20. I found the fit to be just as good. In another thread, I talk about my journey to get to no nose pain. Regarding congestion, I ...

Re: Nose bridge problems with Airfit N20, any helpful advice?

I found some bandaids at Walmart with extra thick padding on the bandage part. That, in combination with the padacheek allowed me to wake up this morning without any soreness, but with a little bit of redness which I can put up with. I did remove the N20 at about 2:30 from some nasal congestion and ...

I stand corrected. Apparently this is an un-moderated forum and folks can speak as freely as they choose without forum consequence. My bad.
