Your best bet is to have the Doc specify exactly what kind of machine to get. It leaves the DMEs less wiggle...

Hi neighbor!
I don't believe an Apnea would cause the machine to turn off, but there may be other causes. Many of us have disabled that function. You can read a bit about why at this link:

Glad things went well for you, Slinky. But all that Lopressor!! It's a wonder that you didn't fall on your face somewhere along the line! It sounds as if you did well and had a good time afterward! It really isn't a bad procedure, just a bit time consuming. I had forgotten about the blood draw. They...

Slinky...are you having your heart vessels checked? So far mine have been clear. Hope the same for you. The problems I have are elsewhere. The Docs used to comment on how unusual it was to have blockages where mine have shown up. Now they just say, "Oh you have Apnea!'. So they are spreading the cos...

Here is how the procedure was for me: No eating 4-6 hours before appointment Get BP checked and line inserted for contrast Have CTA done Go home If I had this done at a local hospital, I could have done easily this on my own. ...
