What a neat idea, p2pjunkie. Have you actually tired it yet? Looks as if it would work.

Thanks for the reviews! I would love to try one, if they are going to be passed around. One of the problems I have with masks is the weight, so this one sounds great. It is going to be awhile before I can get one through Insurance/DME.

Joyce....I had the same problem with the Activa headgear. My solution was to fold the bottom strap over twice, then reattach. That made it fit much better.

No BiPAP, but I went from straight CPAP to an Auto with AFLEX, and that has helped with the aerophagia. My pressure on CPAP was only 8, but that was more than enough.

...only the silky smooth parachute material.
Oh, Jen, that sounds wonderful....definitely a step up from what we usually feel against our skin.

Will wait for more from you all!

Hi and welcome. Yes, the CFLEX works well, but the AFLEX works better! If you need a very high pressure, you may need to get a BiPAP, which has one pressure for inhale and another for exhale. Your best bet is to have the Doc specify exactly what kind of machine to get. It leaves the DMEs less wiggle...

Thanks for the feedback, Swtsassy and JZ. Sounds good.

I use the Activa, too, Swtsassy. The seal is great, but the bulkiness is bothersome.

I am sooooo curious! How does the mask feel on the skin? Soft, stiff, scratchy? Lightweight is good...one of the problems I have is the weight of the masks.

Jen....you are correct. I applaud them for taking the steps necessary to bring something new to the market.

I think it is great that we finally have some people here trying this mask and am absolutely looking forward to hearing about it. I have problems finding a mask to use since I have problems with a FF or pillows. Please let us know how it goes Jen and Janna.

Hi neighbor!

I don't believe an Apnea would cause the machine to turn off, but there may be other causes. Many of us have disabled that function. You can read a bit about why at this link:

Glad things went well for you, Slinky. But all that Lopressor!! It's a wonder that you didn't fall on your face somewhere along the line! It sounds as if you did well and had a good time afterward! It really isn't a bad procedure, just a bit time consuming. I had forgotten about the blood draw. They...

Slinky...are you having your heart vessels checked? So far mine have been clear. Hope the same for you. The problems I have are elsewhere. The Docs used to comment on how unusual it was to have blockages where mine have shown up. Now they just say, "Oh you have Apnea!'. So they are spreading the cos...

Slinky....I've got to get off here for awhile, but will check back later. Here is how the procedure was for me: No eating 4-6 hours before appointment Get BP checked and line inserted for contrast Have CTA done Go home If I had this done at a local hospital, I could have done easily this on my own. ...
