Re: Cracked resivoir
Sounds like bad luck to me. My reservoir began leaking and eventually ruined the top finish of my oak barn wood night stand. It wasn't a major blow out. Just small enough to make me run out of water every night for about a week before I discovered the problem and the underlying warped wood. Had to t...

Re: F-30 mask
I currently use the F20. Will my F20 headgear work with this mask? In the video, they look the same.

Re: THC, Sleep & CPAP data
[quot e=comfortsteve post_id=1275837 time=1542331622 user_id=88894] I'm Canadian & we've had Marijuana legalized for about a month. I'm experimenting with taking THC to help with insomnia & am curious if anyone here is doing the same, but using CPAP data to monitor effectiveness or if there's anythi...

Re: CBD (from cannabis) oil and deep sleep
score69, I, too, have dealt with an anxiety disorder since I was about 7 years old. I am now 70. I remember the day many years ago when I first read about Xanax. Since then, it has been a Godsend for me, using it only as needed for social anxiety situations. Now that I'm retired, I have much less ne...

Re: CBD (from cannabis) oil and deep sleep
I'm a 50 year, moderate user of marijuana. By that, I mean I may take a couple of hits from high potency herb 2-3 times per month. I have been trying a good quality CBD tincture at night for a couple of months. My dosage has been one dropper full which = 1500 mg. CBD. I can honestly say that I have ...

Re: Chin strap with FFM - recommendations
I've tried to use the N20 nasal mask with every possible combination of straps, collars, and mouth moisturizers, all to no avail. The most satisfactory combination I've found is the F20 full face mask with a XyliMelt between the cheek and gum. It's not perfect, but it works well enough that I don't ...

Re: Time for a new FFM
I think you're on the right track with the Air Touch F20. I've been using the F20 for many months now and it's the best mask (for me) that I've tried. I started using the Air Touch memory foam about 6 months ago, and it still shows no signs of wear. I'm on Medicare so I bought it out of pocket. Thes...

Re: First Ever Problem with Sleepyhead
I went to the Discord site and was immediately directed to look in Explorer to see where Sleephead was located. I saw it in G:\ but I was not being given that choice at start up. For some reason I was put in the F:\ search which was useless. The phrase "CPAP Data Located Would You Like to Import fro...

First Ever Problem with Sleepyhead
I have been using the Sleepyhead program for one year without any problems. I'm at a point now where I generally bring my S/D card to the computer every few weeks to update my information. Up until today, this is how I successfully approached the download of new information: --Insert S/D card into c...

Re: Resmed F20 Full Face Problem solved
I also use the F20. After reading recommendations on this forum concerning pressure adjustments, I raised my minimum from 7.0 to 9.0 (9.0 was the sweet spot during my sleep study). I also raised the maximum pressure to 14.0, which was 2.0 above my maximum pressure at the time. Prior to these adjustm...

Re: Anyone do better with lower pressure?
Interesting discussion. Not that this has anything to do with the question but after reading some of yesterday's advice, I adjusted my minimum pressure to "the minimum needed to keep your airway open." So I raised my minimum from 7 to 9 since my titration showed the best results at 9. I also raised ...

Re: Confusing Info Concerning Hose Covers
As usual, all great suggestions, Pugsy. The rainout has been in the mask only. Not heavy, just very noticeable in the morning. As stated, I've been at 81 degrees and didn't think about increasing the temp. Also didn't think about just insulating the unheated extension. I'll try these before getting ...

Confusing Info Concerning Hose Covers
Since starting cpap last April, I have kept my unit (with heated hose) set as follows: Climate Control: Auto Tube Temp: 81 I've had no problems with rainout until recently when the weather got much cooler. I love to sleep in a cold room and I don't want to reduce my tube humidity, so it looks as tho...

Re: Do you find ramp up useful?
As usual, thanks Pugsy. I was actually highlighting "Ramp Time" but I didn't have enough sense to turn the dial counterclockwise so I could select OFF.
Also, I changed the machine setting from "CPAP" back to "Auto Set" for whatever that's worth.

Re: Do you find ramp up useful?
I'm confused as to how to turn off (disable) the ramp feature on my Airsense 10. Looking in the clinical settings, I have choices of "Auto Set" and "CPAP." "Ramp Time" is "Auto" and there does not appear to be a way to select anything else. Last night I set the machine to "CPAP" with "Start Pressure...
