Re: Rudeness

Who knew there would be trolls on a forum about CPAP machines and such? The anonymity of the internet gives some people the false impression that it's okay to treat people with no respect. These are usually miserable, cowardly human beings who wouldn't dare treat someone that way face-to-face. They'...

Re: Need some advice on something I read, and a product...

Those teeny tiny cpaps...almost everyone I read about the people are complaining about the noise. That's good to know, but I think it's a non-issue anyway since that adapter seems to be the way to go. I'm a little concerned about the other stuff now though - "monitoring my therapy" and all that. It...

Re: Need some advice on something I read, and a product...

Pugsy is not a "he", at least not by the pink "F" in her profile. I have one, too, but have been thought to be a guy by an unobservant person. Not that it matters . . . Wow. Okay. I'm new here. Pugsy, thank you ma'am for your help, and for taking the time to explain the problem to me. I aologize fo...

Please don't take any of this the wrong way but I am also thinking that he hasn't been tracking his therapy at all and that from the choices he has been making I think it may not be as effective as it could be. I would also suggest sleeping w/o the humidifier at home first and taking the chamber al...

Re: Need some advice on something I read, and a product...

DON'T PUT YOUR CPAP IN YOUR SUITCASE!. You should NEVER put a cpap in checked-luggage. Also, for travel on most airlines (and all airlines in the USA) a cpap does not count as part of your carry-on luggage allowance? Thus, your luggage problem is solved. ...A small plastic adapter is needed (you sh...

Re: Need some advice on something I read, and a product...

You should believe folks on this forum when they say something, they are USUALLY right, especially Pugsy and PALERIDER . Pugsy said the same thing Palerider was saying, but he actually explained it and made himself clear. Palerider was snarky and just assumed his decree was sufficient. I didn't com...

My mistake. I haven't had the thing apart in awhile, but have you seen one of these machines? In person? You can't run it like that. I have one of those machines, I have run it like that. you keep saying "YOU CAN'T' every time I say something.... and you've been wrong every time. hint You were righ...

Re: Need some advice on something I read, and a product...

There was some sort of plate I think. Piece of plastic. I thought that it could be used without that piece but this was 8 or 9 years ago when I had it....so my memory might not be spot on. It's been some years now since I used the M series. I think this is needed. My machine came with it but I neve...

Re: Need some advice on something I read, and a product...

have you seen one of these machines? In person? You can't run it like that. Sure you can. My first machine was the M series machine. It comes apart and you can hook the hose up directly to the blower and not use the humidifier. Is there some kind of an adapter that mates the hose with the machine? ...

[quote="Guest"]This XT is prob not compatible with Sleepyhead but you prob don't care about that.[quote] Nope. Don't even know what that is. The VA will provide a newer CPAP, but not a small one. Like I said, I have been on CPAP for 8 years with no issues. I don't need the ramp setting, and I don't ...
