Re: No CPAP, Great Night's Sleep

Ya know there is some really good information & some very helpful people on this board, but there are a hell of a lot of trolls who go into attack mode anytime a contrarian point of view is posted. There isn't a doctor out there that will tell you every single treatment works for every single perso...

Re: Aug 2017 - What is the best machine to get

Hello, I am getting a new machine. What is currently considered the best machine to get? I am looking for one where I can get the data off the machine so that I can see how well the machine. Thank you, LoganASU I have only used an S10 but I am very happy with it so far. You will get basic data as s...

Re: Travel Machine

Hey all, Does anyone have a travel (small/portable) machine they are happy with and would recommend? I have no special requirements in terms of higher pressures etc. I don't care if I can pull data off of it. I currently have an S9 for home and would prefer to use the same type of mask (Swift FX) i...

Re: small rant

Sorry in advance about the small rant. Had my first yearly checkup with the doctor. And got yelled at, for two solid hours, for having changed the settings. Apparently only doctors are allowed to know how to do that. (And now the settings are all way off, no more expiration relief (so back to wakin...

Re: Does the SoClean machine require water in the humification c

I am having problems with my check valve with the So-Clean. It keeps getting filled with water and I keep changing it. I read somewhere that you can run the Soclean without water in the hum. chamber. No other info was given. Any thoughts? BTW this is a brand new machine . The old one was replaced b...

Re: Can you die [directly] of sleep apnea?

I would think it would be highly unlikely to appear on an autopsy report although the heart attack or stroke which resulted primarily as a direct result of the apnea untreated for the long term would be. My brother in law was hit in the eye a couple of weeks ago by a baseball during practice. He had...

Re: Is CPAP making my sleep apnea worse when I don't use it?

Would you not treat high blood pressure because it could be worse if you discontinue the treatment? Would you not treat diabetes because it could be worse if you discontinue the treatment? Yes, Sleep Apnea as serious as the above conditions (and not unrelated). Thanks for listing all of my afflicti...

Re: Is CPAP making my sleep apnea worse when I don't use it?

I feel pretty certain that CPAP will not make your apnea worse, once you become accustomed to getting enough sleep and oxygen you will notice not having them. So you will notice the feeling more. Mind you, I only have a couple month experience here to draw from. I was one who really did not "feel" ...

Re: OT: Metformen or Not?

Since being on the machine and losing a bunch of weight, my morning glucose levels have also dropped. My doctor, before the poor soul died, told me if my morning glucose reading was less than 100 (in the morning: fasting), no need to take my metformin pill. I've been bumping around different doctor...

My travel bag provided with the Airsense 10 was REALLY easy to carry on my trip for Mothers Day this weekend.
