I believe it is due to pain that I experience from the mask.
It sounds like you are not certain.

I’m scared and was wondering if these symptoms may or may not be linked to sleep apnea ?
Whatever the cause of your cognitive issues, CPAP treatment probably won't hurt and quite possibly could help.
Severe sleep apnea is no joke.

My sinuses have given me way less grief since I started therapy.

Re: New & Skeptical

<snip>my info comes not only from the news that relative loads of people are dying from vaping (however often or not they do it) but from research - which unfortunately is not always up to date with actual news. Please quantify "relative loads". Please cite the research you mention. Thanks in advan...

Re: Need more water

I have a newer AirCurve 10 Auto. I wake up every morning with a really dry mouth. I have really high pressure and use a Amara View full face mask. I wake up every morning and my water tank is empty. Is there a bigger tank or a way to get more water. Please advise. I use a heated hose and I’ve tried...

Re: RVs and CPAPs

Well, we finally bit the bullet and got an RV after some ten years of thinking about it and 5 years of serious research. We have a Newmar Baystar 3419, which means is a big beastie. (8.5' wide and 34'11" long.) Driving it is gonna take some getting used to. The nightstands by the queen bed are JUST...

I usually smell something "off" slightly before the tank goes dry.
It tends to wake me up--most unpleasantly.

Re: Has anybody ever used the AC power on a aircraft to run a CPAP?

Ok now I'm curious. Its been a while since i have flown. Is this 115vac@400hz supposed to be for passenger use or is this for flight crew? What is the form factor for the connection point? If memory serves, trains and ships also have different electrics but its not for the passenger. Off to do some ...

Re: What are best practices in an extended power outage?

It'll go dark. I'll try to keep it cold as long as I can by not opening it very often, and try to eat as much of t he food in it before it goes bad. Frozen food particularly should last a few days at least. Then I'll switch to non-perishable food stores. Here is my plan. I have a small inverter gen...

palerider, thank you.

I found the other thread where somebody is doing a DIY backup. He seems to use both the male and female connectors. I asked in that thread. Thanks again.
Can you provide a link to that thread please.
