Re: Sleep Apnea and Red Blood Cell Count
After CPAP treatment the red blood cell concentration fell from very high to near normal, it could suggest that the high red blood cell count is caused by sleep apnea? The sleep apnea could stimulate more red blood cell production to carry more oxygen from your lungs to your cells? Wait a minute, I ...

Re: Do you record your sleep ?
I used my IP cam to record my sleep only couple times. I found myself change body position once an hour. And do you have a problem with that ? E.g. maintenance insomnia ? Do you wake up not feeling restful ? I know I have sleep apena, and the IP camera does shows many my sleep apena symptoms like: ...

Re: cpap--com Big Sale
I really don't think this rule makes any sense: The warranty is tied only to a online dealer where you bought your cpap machine. oh yeah? ever drive your car back to the manufacturer for warranty service? or did you take it to an independently owned DEALER ? For my Honda I can drive it to "any" Hon...

Thank everyone here for spending time writing your inputs.
If I can I will try to ask RESMED about their warranty for their cpap machine.

Re: cpap.com Big Sale
Turn around and diagnostic time actually sounds reasonable. You need to communicate directly to the dealer, rather than slam them on their own forum. There is no use to slam them, I just try to understand the market to educate myself, although it maybe be too late. Now I feel that ordering a cpap m...

I really don't think this rule makes any sense: The warranty is tied only to a online dealer where you bought your cpap machine. Your still covered by the Manufactures warranty if the original DME went out of business or you moved. For Warranty Repairs when it's still covered you can take it to any...

Re: Time to shop for my CPAP!
Other places do warranty work, but you haven't even used the machine so how do you know it needs warranty work. A missing SD card is easy to correct and stickiness from tape can be removed. You said it has 0 run hours. If you still want to spend your money, I'm sure acbio.com could tell you it is i...

Re: Time to shop for my CPAP!
....... If a vendor has a contract with the maker of your machine, and the warranty is in effect, they cannot refuse. ...... Over the years, there have been numerous stories of "brick & mortar" DMEs going out of business. If that happens, it's like owning an automobile and the dealership goes out o...

Re: Time to shop for my CPAP!
The warranty is only good if you purchased from a DME. The manufacturer will not deal with individuals. I am very surprised that the manufacturer will not deal with individuals in USA. What happen if DME is out of business. I am 1st time cpap machine buyer, and I really don't understand this rule.

Re: cpap.com Big Sale
I have purchased many things from cpap.com, with NO COMPLAINTS. They have gone above and beyond, even when it was optional on their part. Comments from many other forum members indicate that Secondwind is equally awesome. So, do you work for Apria or Lincare? I amd new and I don't have any idea abo...
