FOR SALE Medistrom Pilot 24 Plus Battery for AirSense 10 or S9
I bought a backup battery for my AirSense 10 (also works for Resmed S9) in early 2018 for a trip to Costa Rica and have not used it other than some testing. It is made by Medistrom and the name is Pilot 24 Plus. It can be used as a portable battery during travel or as a backup power source to preven...

Is there a buy/sell CPAP forum anywhere?
I bought a battery for my AirSense 10 two years ago for a trip to Costa Rica and never used it. Would like to sell it. Should I just put it on ebay or is there a forum for selling somewhere? Thanks.

Just got a Dream Station Go travel cpap
This board has been helpful to me, so thought I would share my experience with this CPAP machine. My normal machine is an AirSense 10 with a 15 mm hose. Finally decided to shell out the $900 for a travel cpap. I looked at all the options and decided on the Dream Station Go. My local DME did not stoc...

Replacement Dreamwear mask causing burping
I've been on CPAP therapy for about 4 years now due to mild/moderate sleep apnea.. First six months were hell, but I eventually got used to it and have been a faithful user of my Airsense 10 with a Dreamwear mask. I recently replaced my Dreamwear mask with another Dreamwear mask (same design) and am...

Re: Do Full Face Masks Change Facial Skin for the Worst
I wear a nasal mask, but every morning it takes a couple of hours for the marks from the mask to leave my face, and it seems that the mask has increased my wrinkles. It is hard to tell if the wrinkles were going to happen anyway at my age (61) though. If anyone has suggestions for how to get the mar...

Re: Need battery backup for trip to Costa Rica - Resmed AirSense
Thanks for the great info. My husband is wondering why I couldn't just wire in series two 8 amp hour 12v lithium batteries to avoid having to buy a converter. Any thoughts about this?

Need battery backup for trip to Costa Rica - Resmed AirSense
I am flying to Costa Rica for ten days and the tour company said that people who use a cpap should bring a battery backup, because the power in Costa Rica sometimes goes off for a few hours at a time. I see there is quite a bit about batteries on this forum, but I know technology changes rapidly, an...

Re: New to Dreamwear
Well, I am completely new to CPAP and the dreamwear is my first mask. I've used both for six nights now. At the DME I tried on nasal pillows first, which felt really unnatural. Then I asked to try on a dreamwear, because my brother-in-law likes his, and it felt so much less intrusive, so I said I wo...

Re: At sleeep study, were you hoping you had apnea?
Yes, I was. For one thing, I had pushed my doctor for the sleep study, because of my excessive daytime sleepiness and light snoring at night. I also became aware of how expensive they are (I have insurance, but still had to pay $300), and I didn't want anyone to think that I was a hypochondriac and ...
