Re: Titration
I had a (brief) moment of quiet, and got curious. This board (as far as I am concerned) is for information. None of it is a priority. If I'm curious about something, I figured this would be the most likely place to get an intelligent answer that can help me gain understanding. I do see some of that,...

Re: Titration
You'll all have to excuse me, but I can't seem to understand what you're trying to get across here. I constantly have a teenager, two preteens, and a toddler all needing something that only I could possibly provide them, ALL the time! I don't get much time to myself, even when one DIDN'T just get th...

Re: Bad night
So this is probably just part of the normal process, most likely? Yuck, but I guess I can wait it out awhile and see if my body adjusts back to sleeping less and waking up feeling better again. As long as it doesn't go on TOO long, cuz I was enjoying waking up with energy like that. Thanks!

Bad night
Just looking for general info here. Since I got my machine (somewhere between 2-3 weeks ago, I think) I've had GREAT sleep. Like, my usual habit of sleeping 9-11 hrs per night and waking up exhausted with no ability to function has been gone! I typically sleep between 6 and 7 hrs, and wake up able t...

Re: Titration
I realize sleepy head would give more detail. (Been mentioned several times) Unfortunately, I don't have capabilities to get it. Just wondered if anyone knew what might cause the machine to report a false disconnect.

Re: Titration
Klm49 sorry, I wasn't trying to ignore your question. Been crazy around here today and missed it earlier. On the app, disconnects is listed underneath "mask fit". It shows mask fit 100% (every day), a graph showing history of mask fit percentages, then under that part the disconnects, and leaks.

Re: Titration
I turn it off before removing the mask. So it isn't reporting that as a disconnect. I wish it was that easy, but I saw that problem coming before I ever got the machine. Didn't want it to see things that weren't there that I could prevent.

Re: Titration
I did say in my question that it was on all night. Do you somehow not see this? Was I perhaps not clear enough to allow full understanding? I tried to give as much information as I have to allow for clarity. Stated "night" twice in the post. Whereas "day" was used once, in reference to the informati...

Re: Titration
I've noticed my machine always (meaning all except the first night 10 days ago) reports 100% mask fit, no leaks, and 1 disconnect. (First night I removed it for a minute because I wasn't able to breathe out and panicked). I don't remove it overnight, so why is the machine telling me there's a discon...

Re: Self diagnosis based on optimal pressure range?
My statement stands. If you think I screwed up, be my guest and believe that. I do not object, as it does not bother me if you choose to disagree.

Re: Panic???
I found that minor stomach bugs don't cause problems. But I also found that stupidly lifting a 20 gal mop bucket full of water to dump in the tub and hurting your back DOES... My own fault. Thought about waiting for my son to do it for me, and decided "no, I'll just do it myself real quickly. I knew...

Re: Self diagnosis based on optimal pressure range?
No one here is going to accept the responsibility of diagnosing you. You've been here four days, and you know that?[/quote Well, I know from observance, that most here are intelligent enough to not want THAT legal issue. But, if you disagree, naturally, you may be my guest and accept responsibility...

Re: Self diagnosis based on optimal pressure range?
Since we are not your Dr, the best you're going to get is maybes. If you want something definite, you're going to have to go see an actual doctor, and go through a sleep study. No one here is going to accept the responsibility of diagnosing you.

Re: Lifelong side sleeper now on back
I had a friend who disliked sleeping on her back as a teen (no idea WHY). She sewed half a tennis ball to the back of her nightgown to keep herself from sleeping on her back! I don't imagine it was that comfortable, however...
