Re: Vibration/Tinnitus

I've been wanting to start a thread about this and stumbled upon this thread. I started CPAP last July . Around March of this year, I had BBPV. It went away after 2 weeks and recurred sometime in June. Come now September 2016. Started developing several symptoms such as difficulty in hearing, buzzin...

Re: What are some GREAT APAP set ups for below $500?

I use the Remstar System One 60 Series Auto and it works well for me. You can get it from cpap.com for $429 including humidifier and heated hose. The newer Dreamstation machines haven't changed much compared to the System One. Using the same model here. Got it under 400USD last July from another si...

Re: Full face mask

Yes, it shouldn't be too tight to cause bruises and too loose to cause leaks.

Plus, as posted above, pads will help. It's a bit tough to to get the right fit and tightness, but once you do, you will be OK.

Re: Vacation travel

It might be a hassle, sometimes awkward, but it's a lifesaver. Don't leave home without it. You can venture in getting a travel machine, but make sure you study it's features. In my case, I made a mistake in getting a travel machine which didn't have EPR. I use EPR back home with my primary machine....

Re: I have a prescription but now what?

I have the wisp mask as well.

For the nose bridge issue, you can either buy paddings or make your own.

For the clogging issue, are you, or did you, use a humidifier?

Re: Questions about REMstar Pro C-Flex +

For the last 2 months I've been using my Remstar 560, I've tried and used 3 different masks from 3 different brands. I'm now back to Philips' Wisp. I've also used interchangeably the hose from Philips and the one I got from APEX. Philips for home use and Apex hose for traveling. No particular reason...

I just wipe my nasal cushion every after and before use. Sometimes I also wipe the frame of the mask. Baby wipes that are water based is what I use.

Re: emptying water on travel

I was wondering whether other users empty the humidifier chamber every day while traveling and staying in a hotel or other accommodation for a few days. The "concern" would be the potential that those cleaning the room may move (possibly spill) the water remaining in the humidifier. We have not had...

Re: newbie questions

Hi. I have no experience with the resmed but for a difference of 70usd, I would get a brand new 560 instead of the pre-owned one and you get 2 yrs warranty with it.

But, if budget is really an issue, a lot of the members here recommend secondwindpap

Re: Emptying dreamstation water

Is there a trick to emptying the last bit of water from the humidifier in the morning? I have to shake it like crazy and water goes everywhere I agree with LSAT. No need to empty it. Just top up. In my case though, the only time I need to empty it is if I'm going to travel and I'm bringing my prima...
