Re: Removing the DreamStation humidifier piece
Most of the time I use my DreamStation w/o the humidifier. I live in the middle of a busy city (Philadelphia) and fall to sleep each night with earphones on listening to music. So, my DreamStation never sounds noisy to me. Now my neighbors...that's another story. The things I hear are comic relief f...

Re: Airtouch lifespan
So far I have 3 1/2 months on this mask. I will probably change it at 4 months. I am still getting an excellent seal on the mask but it is starting to lose its original foam shape. I just wipe it with plain water carefully as needed. It is a very comfortable mask as full face masks go.

F20 mask question
Does anyone know the difference between the F20 AirTouch and the F20 AirFit masks? Is one of them an upgrade? Thanks!

Re: Humidifier question
What is this magic end cap for use on machines with the humidifier not attached? I have run my DreamStation and my friend has run her PR System 1 without humidifiers for a few months w/o any apparent problems. Do they serve a purpose or are they just for aesthetics? Thanks. I think since the Airsen...

Re: Wisp mask- spare parts free-
To add to this Wisp giveaway...I have some new Wisp (various sizes...I will check) cushions and a couple of used cushions and a headgear (that I don't know what size..it's the silicone one I think) that I just discovered last night in a donations box and it needs to find a new home. It's in great s...

Re: Wisp mask- spare parts free-
I have some spare parts for a WISP nasal mask. If you need this, I will mail it to you --all I ask is you reimburse me the shipping. 1 headgear- size RS (which I consider small, like for a child it looks like) Came brand new from our sponsor, did not fit me. 1 headgear -size L- came from a 2nd hand...

Re: Dreamwear. An elbow not a 'ball and socket'?
Does anyone else wish the Dreamwear mask has a ball and socket type attachment instead of the elbow. When I move in my sleep of the hose doesn't want to be at right angles to my head it put pressure on the joint Popping it out once just how would that work, and still maintain unrestricted airflow? ...

Re: Study: "CPAP machines do not reduce heart attack, strokes"
As a cardiac patient, this article almost ruined my day until I got to the 3.3 hours of use part. What a disreputable misleading article. If I had read this before I started on CPAP, I probably wouldn't have started treatment because I was not aware of the oxygen desats I was having. Now my oxygen ...
