Re: Rule/LAW that says DMEs can't deliver supplies automatically
My local DME only lets me buy a month of supplies at a time. Plus I have to call them and remind them. I feel like I inconvenience them with my phone calls. So I contacted a different DME who will provide 3 months of supplies and free shipping. They will call me every 3 months to confirm the order b...

Re: mouth breathing alarm?
My Aircurve V10 Auto has a build in leak alert. I just needed to turn it on. Perhaps your machine does as well?

I use the my air score daily. Easy way for me to insure I had a good nights score and low leakage. On the weekend is when I do my regular sleepy head report.

Re: Multiple Masks & Leaks
I know the frustration of masks and leaks. Check out my signature. The only mask I have been able to use with no leakage is the ResMed Mirage Quattro. Once I added Remzzz's liners and a padacheek anti leak strap. Just got the Dreamwear in the mail today. can't wait to try it out.

Re: Looking for a nasal mask that won't leave marks
I love and use the Mirage Activa LT. Very comfortable and doesn't leave marks on me when I wake up. But can only use it when I am not having sinus issues.
Best of Luck!

They seem to help me. I don't wear mine very tight. I just need to feel it to remember to not use my mouth to breathe.

Re: First Night was Pathetic
Don't give up. You are on cpap therapy for a reason. It can take time to get used to it. Perhaps you would feel more comfortable with a nasal mask. I use a full face mask only when I have sinus or congestion issues.

Re: mask
Everyone has a slightly different face. So what works for me may not work for you. For a full face mask. I like the adjust-ability of the ResMed Mirage Quattro. Another mask I really like is the resmed airfit f 10.
Good luck and remember not to give up.

Re: Did you feel instantly better?
The night of my sleep study was the best nights sleep I have had in years. I have had not been able to replicate that night. But I have had many good nights sleep since my therapy started in January. I am suppose to have another sleep study in 1 month. My insurance provides 100% coverage. Otherwise ...

Re: Mask Leaks
Xpap therapy does not benefit you if you have major leakage issues. My DME has a limited amount of masks available. I tried everyone of them and all had MAJOR leaks. So I am paying out of pocket to have productive therapy. I accept the masks and supplies the DME gives me due to insurance full covera...
