I know for a fact when I'm tired, my wife isn't get any. Sorry, if that doesn't sound nice, but hell it's just the blunt truth.
So does sleep apnea affect sex. Of course if it's not being treated!

Great to hear a positive, awesome story every now and then instead of reading about problems and more problems. Thanks for sharing

Re: Heartburn
I have bad GERD and am getting a EGD done actually (scope into my esophagus/stomach) Monday to see what the hell is going on. The docs don't believe it is anything to do with sleep apnea. I have been put on prescribed Nexium, worked about a month or two, then started to feel it coming back. Then the...

Re: Where can I find a more "attractive" mask?
I think there are kids (of varied ages) with apnea that would really like a Mask that doesn't look like scary medical equipment for many reasons. I saw a plush face hugger (viva la Alien) the other day and thought, that's nice for the sci-fi fan with sleep apnea. Wanna start a business? If I win th...

Re: Some answers
My daughter had to have both tonsils and adenoids taken out on 2 separate surgeries(have no idea why they didn't get them both in one whack) when she was 2 and 3 years old. Anyway, hers always stayed swollen due to ear infections and colds. And yes swollen glands can cause issues swallowing. I would...

Re: Dry Mouth Question/Orajel
I've used orajel dry mouth gel before and has seemed to help. I haven't used it religiously because my dry mouth problem isn't chronic, but for the times my mouth was dry it helped.

Lol somebody has to always be over-technical. Always leads to over OFF TOPIC.

Re: Can CPAP cause depression/anxiety?
I could make a whole list of things I believe to be worse than "being tethered to a machine while sleeping". I was TRYING to get you to put things into perspective. It's a machine and therapy that helps you live your life better.......and you only have to use it at night when you sleep to help you ...

Re: Reasons sleep is unsatisfying on Cpap - Poll
One of the most significant reasons is unable to sleep with this thing your face. That' should be a choice? I think that was the "inconsistent hours slept" choice. I was looking for the same thing and finally decided that fits the best match. yet, my sleep hours are not necessarily inconsistent, bu...

Re: tubeless masks?
yeah I gathered from the article i read that they were still in testing phases and said they had funded something like 2.5 mil for them recently. Something to do with selling them at first for only $3 to a certain amount of people who want to try them. So maybe we will get to give them a shot someday.

Re: tubeless masks?
thanks for the quick reply. And sorry if I resurrected a already discussed topic. I just didn't see anything in forum right off, but maybe I didn't dig enough.
Anyone else tried these? I ask because I'm a "toss and turn" sleeper. Anything that gets in the way "less" is always better for me.

tubeless masks?
Anyone heard about these new tubeless systems? Care to offer any info if you do? I read an article today, don't want to post a link or anything being I'm new, about these new tubeless systems. It was dated just a few weeks ago.
