Re: Sleeyhead graphs disappeared
No one has any experience with this problem? Oh, well, I just may solve the problem by giving up on CPAP altogether as the difficulties I'm experiencing seem to exceed the benefits and make continued use ????

Now What?
My AHI has gone from low single digits to decimal fractions -- such as 0.015. The reason is that due to insomnia I have taken to falling asleep on the couch in living room so that I could watch TV. Boring shows make for better sleeping pills. I end up sleeping sprawled out, head elevated. This total...

Re: Why has my AHI gone up? (w/screenshots)
All those crazy machine names will drive ya nuts, like model and serial numbers 25 digits long and toss in a few letters to boot.

Re: Why has my AHI gone up? (w/screenshots)
Your leak rate is excessive by a lot. IF I recall rightly, the max acceptible rate is arouind 24 and you show 60 and above. I think your problem is with the amara mask which is complicated to adjust. The vent is at the top of mask where all those small holes are, Its okay to feel the venting but you...

Sleeyhead graphs disappeared
Suddenly all the graphs on the right side ceased displaying. I can't find anything that has to do with displaying or not displaying. So far, I have uninstalled and reinstalled and the graphs came back for two days then disappeared again. Anybody know what causes this and the fix. FYI I've had S.H. u...

Re: Dumb Question or Merely Mystified
CPAP can prevent events from happening, thus allowing you to sleep better. There could be many other factors that could improve your numbers as well. Perhaps you have been sleeping on your side more, rather than your back. Perhaps you haven't been eating right before bed. Perhaps your allergies are...

Re: Residue in humidifier
I have seen the same thing happen once, and only once. If the air pressure from your machine is interrupted (stopped) even momentarily, you will be breathing back thru the hose and into the water tank. If, as you say, something is growing, then in all likelihood it is bacterial and where is that lik...

Re: Any one else dealing with chronic sinusitis?
Reflux does NOT cause nasal congestion - better not to post at all unless you know what you're talking about. Easy girl. Maybe not for you but reflux most certainly can affect the sinuses. For me, when this happens. instead of congestion it causes a runny nose, and if that, then its only a short st...

Re: Dumb Question or Merely Mystified
Y'all answered the first part of my question (rather sarcastically it seems) but not the second which is: why has my AHI declined so drastically over the last few months? I'm sure that were I to retake the sleep study again, at this time, it would produce a radically different result, there being ve...

Dumb Question or Merely Mystified
But based on my experience. Does CPAP "cure" apnea or does it merely respond to apnea events. The reason I ask is that my AHI for the last 4-5 months has been under 1.5 or less, down from an average of around 5+ when I first started. Normally, I only sleep around 4 hrs/night but last night I slept f...

Re: airsense 10, amara view mask, what APRIA said~
These CPAP suppliers are worse than used car lot salesmen. Mine finally went belly-up with no notice. This outfit, a chain, had a terrible reputation . . . endless complaints all over the 'Net. You'd think the manufacturers would be more concerned with whom they choose as dealers to represent them. ...

When pressure is high, I rip mask off in my sleep
I only sleep 4 hrs/night as it is but when pressure goes to 18-20, usually after two hours, I always wake up to find mask on the floor. Don't even wake up, do it in my sleep. My AHI continues to be low, occasionally coming in at 0.00 and averaging under 2.0 so not worried about lowering max pressure...

Re: changed my pressure settings
How any nights are you basing this increased AHI on? I would wait a week or so before drawing any conclusions.

Looking for the ResMed Airsense 10 software
Somewheres on this vast site is a link to download the ResMed clinical software, the one used to program our machine. I lost mine when I switched to Win 10.
Can anyone direct me to the location of this link?
