Re: Hose wrapped up
I had a ferritin test done by my sleep doctor for my rls. My ferritin level was a 6. My doctor told me to start taking iron and vitamin C twice a day. The vitamin C helps your body absorb the iron.

Re: cleaning heated air hose
My DME said it was perfectly fine to wash my heated house in warm water with a little dish soap, that it wouldn't hurt the electrodes. As long as I let it dry completely before reconnecting it to the cpap.

Re: Humidifier RESMED AIRSENSE 10 For Her question
I'm not sure of any settings to try that you haven't already. I have the same machine and the humidifier works too well sometimes. It sounds like your humidifier may not be working.

Re: Stopped up nose
I've been using flonase and a nasal inhaler. I think what set me off last night, hubby and I were up in attic doing some work. I made it about 4 hours last night and I was so stopped up I had to take my mask off. It was leaking because I wasn't able to breath through my nose.

Re: Stopped up nose
Thanks. I was thinking of getting the Airfit F10 just in case. I still have a couple of weeks to try different masks, so I may go ahead and pick that one up tomorrow. Do you like the way it fits?

Stopped up nose
I'm currently using an Airfit N10 nasal mask. It's been great except for a couple of nights when I've had a stuffed up nose which is typical for me this time of year. I'm just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on a full face mask helping.

Re: 2 weeks in
I've always been a mouth breather but my doctor wanted to try me on the nasal mask first. I can't stand to have my mouth open while I'm masked now. I feel like I'm suffocating if I do open my mouth. I haven't had any issues making myself switch to nose breathing.

Re: Heated Hose
So the higher the hose temp, the less rainout, correct? Last night was my first night at home with my machine and I had quite a bit of rainout.

Sleeping on your stomach
Does anyone here sleep on their stomach while using their machine? I'm a stomach sleeper and worried I won't be able to get comfortable laying down while hooked up.
