Re: ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset
Add me to the list of people having problems with the Airsense 10. It was great and very quiet the first 8 months. Now at 12 months old. I complained and sent my machine back to the CPAP provider. It was returned to me making more noise. My wife using earplugs can't stand the noise. I kept my old C...

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset
Where is your machine relative to the edge of the bed? Higher, lower, or about the same? My old S9's display was on top, but when I put the Airsense on the same shelf, I could not see it--so I moved it up to a shelf level with the mattress top. Bingo! More noise. I am planning on putting my machine...

Re: high AHI; low pressure
I raised my pressure to 8 from 7 last night. When I woke up in the middle of the night I had a slight headache and couldn't fall back asleep. I changed my setting back to 7. The AHI read 19.1 when I reset the pressure. My machine also read an AHI of 19.1 this morning. I feel less tired today. I am a...

Re: high AHI; low pressure
While I wait to get my sleep study I am trying to get my AHI's down by increasing the pressure. This morning my AHI was over 45.5 so I Upped the pressure on cpap to 8. I took an hour nap today at the higher Pressure and had 22 AHI. I plan on checking AHI's for the next days to se if I sleep better. ...

Re: Insurance rejects Dr's Sleep Study referral
Metfan302, I could have had a sleep study last night if my insurance company didn't need to approve. I may have a problem because my old machine was replaced because it malfunctioned. My PCP said I most likely need a bi pap.

Re: Lincare Bills Before Insurance
My wife had Apria and they were the worst. They wanted a credit card number to assure payment when the insurance company sends payment directly to Apria. Lincare has been good for me. I guess it depends where you live and quality of the employees involved. Maybe I should feel lucky. Lincare's on lin...

Re: Humidifier RESMED AIRSENSE 10 For Her question
As Viperchic said your machine is either not working or the humidity is set to low. My humidity is set at 81% and I am refilling my water every 2 days. I am getting a few water drops in my hose since temperatures are falling. Directions are in your manual to change humidity settings.

Re: My CPAP Treatment Questions
I would say you are doing well considering how high you started. Download Sleephead for detailed information. My numbers are terrible with AHI of 11 being my best number. To compare my wife's numbers run 0.40 to 0.78 AHI so my numbers are terrible. Hopefully your numbers will go down.

Re: Replacing an older machine
Before you get your new machine, ask yourself how well you are sleeping, or if you are waking up tired. I just got a new air sense 10 auto which I like. Now that I can see how well/poor I am doing everyday I see that my new machine isn't helping me. my AHI's range from 11 to 40 which isn't good. Sle...

Re: Air Sense 10 sudden shutdown?
Air Sense 10 comes with a 2 year warranty. Hopefully your supplier is as good as mine. My supplier brought a loaner machine the same day I called for my previous Resmed cpap.

Thanks Metsfan302. I have an appointment with my doctor next Friday. Last night AHI 37. I pulled my wife's AHI from her S9 cpap. All her AHI's were less than .70. Kind of derpressing.
