Re: Dry Mouth even with mouth tape

Struggling with the same issue tonight. The cheeks expand and the mouth dries out with the circulating air, no need for a tape leak. I'm going to try a different thumidity level, maybe auto setting for a higher humidity level, so it won't dry out as much. And get another cervical collar to help keep...

Re: Cleaning climate line tubing

The weird part was how the green goo bled to the surface without any obvious tear or hole in the fitting. That was I mentioned the slight deformation in the ridge. The tiny lateral hole in the white protruding housing must have been the entry point, if water was the cause. That may be a sensor and/o...

Re: Cleaning climate line tubing

Cleaned the climate line tubing today and noticed gooey green stuff on the outside of the end where the mask attaches. Cut it open and it turned out the metal piece located where the tab sticks out into the airway (with the tiny hole on one side) had corroded creating a pocket of green goo around th...

Re: Fourteen years on CPAP/BiPaP and a question.

This repair company is in Ocala, FL and lists the anticipated repair costs as $275 for the motor, $375 for the main pca board and $475 for the blower and the main pca board. They don't specifically list aircurve models, though.

Re: ASV vs. ASV Auto? ResMed Aircurve 10

You may be able to adjust your PS to a lower number. May take some experimenting. The highest setting for PS was too much for me. My PS needs to be 10 or a little higher. Maybe post your settings.

Re: Respiratory Rate of 7 on ASV - UARS x 13 years

For my asv charts, 12 bpm or a little higher would mean asleep, and 7 bpm would mean not asleep. Rough troughs at 7bpm in the respiratory rate chart come with recollections of awakening, smooth troughs at 7bpm come with no recollections of awakenings. It took awhile to figure out the awakenings were...

He's back at it again, pretty sure. A CL post in Orlando, and he wants to ship from Dallas, TX in the email response. Brand new ASV $300. Gotta be careful.

I haven't had the sweats since I switched to all cotton sheets, covers and bedding. The polyester content sheets seemed to trap a lot of heat.

This decade of bad news is the gift that keeps on giving. But at least the M- series is on the unaffected list, and I thought so lowly of it with how easy water messed it up its electronics and had so much fun taking it apart. If I'd only known.... Cough weeze cough gasp. :(

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread

Used it for 3 days with spot checks the first 2 nights and an all night reading the third, then switched back to the swift lt with overnight O2 measurements. I will have to measure again as just now resting with it on I am seeing good oxygen numbers, unlike before. The 2nd covid shot relapse may hav...

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread

I felt a bit of warm air backwash with bleep and my Oxygen levels were quite low as measured by a wrist oximeter, had to switch back to swift lt and oxygen levels went back to nirmal. I was a bit under the weather but not clogged or anything. I plan on widening some port holes on both sides until th...
