Re: Central apnea on my back , questions

I use a lower PS. 10 is good enough for me. If I recall, my therapy wasn't effective with a PS of 7-8, and a PS of 15 was a bit much. ASV takes some getting used to. I don't use the ramp at all.

My doctor recently recommended Ayr, a saline gel available at the local grocery store. Seems to work okay for irritated nasal passages.

Re: Help with Resmed S9 Adapt adjustments

default settings were a very choppy ride for me, but i needed a 9.2 to resolve obstructive apneas when using a regular cpap and it appears you may require quite a bit less pressure to resolve obstructive apneas. max pressure support of 15 can be a lot and would still be a lot for me, and 10 was good...

Re: Starting ASV - Headaches and Blasts of Air

Perhaps some data posts from SH would helpful...I keep my pressure support at a level that works for me, and avoid using full pressure support . It all depends on what you need to trigger a breath, I suppose. some people need as much pressure support as the machine can offer, some not so much.

Re: CPAP Help: Feel suffocation.
