Re: COVID 19, CPAP, Ventilator MEGA THREAD...everything go here please

It seems there is some attempt at humor here that I don't understand. The GP has an obligation to be truthful with the patient.

Re: No Vendor Criticism Allowed?

They've been a good supplier to me for quite a few years. Once, I made a big mistake on an order. They jumped through hoops to correct it at their own expense.

Note: if the OP's cpap was, in fact a "vent",
there would be no "forgetting" it.
Obviously this one does not understand apnea or terminology.

It's a good thing these "rogue dudes" are here in a CPAP forum. They could be in another forum where people don't know any better, and their dangerous claims don't get countered.

Re: Anyone taking benzos PLEASE READ

It is Big Pharma to blame and ignorent prescribers brainwashed by Big Pharma. How can you say that when you have clearly identified the problem as somewhere else in your previous post? Fast forward 2016 when I was forced into hell by the VA to stop benzos and they didn't help me one darn bit to tap...

Re: Dry mouth

My air leak reading on the machine indicates anywhere from 25 up to 40-50 and I often get the "red face" icon. Checked that out too with the sleep dr. office and they assured me the readings were OK - nothing to worry about (??). It's nothing for them to worry about. They aren't getting dry mouth. ...

Re: Any clues to why my oxygen is so low based on sleepyhead?

Understanding what your problem is is I'm sure a top priority goal, but in the mean time have you considered adding supplemental oxygen to your cpap therapy? Bad idea. You don't add oxygen on a whim. There should be a clear diagnosis and a firm reason to add oxygen. Don't worry, no doctor (except a...

This is hardly characterized as a mere dry mouth:

Re: OT - Net Neutrality

I don't buy the idea that we are talking about a natural monopoly. Here, I have the choice of cable, DSL and 4G wireless cell phone internet. We're playing one against the other and getting some decent contracts.

More options are coming. Don't regulate it. You'll kill innovation and new investment.
