I have taped my mouth shut for many years. I use tender skin tape 2". To avoid tearing the skin off with the tape I use a thin coat of milk of magnesia around my mouth before taping. The tape still holds but it so much easier(and less painful) to remove.

I get over a year of use from nasal pillows. I wash weekly with dawn dishwashing liquid then soak for 5 minutes in 1 part vinegar:2 parts water. Then rinse very very well.
