Re: Water for Humidifier
I'm a dialysis technician- water plant certified. For dialysis we have to use pure water- no pathogens, no chlorine (chloramines), poisons, chemicals, fertilizers, etc. These things are present in all tap water- no matter how hard we try to process tap water it's there. In order for me to use it in ...

Re: New CPAP machine user - AirSense 10 for her
I use the Airsense 10 with the climateline. I think the tech may have set your temp too low. You can adjust it by going to Options on your home screen- Climate Ctrl. I have mine set at auto and it works fine- you can change it as you see fit. I'm too new to this to address your other issues. My expe...

Re: New F&P full face mask ("Simplus")
Just to complete my first year of Cpap(totally changed my life ). I've tried quite a few full face masks, as well as trying nasal pillows, but always had leak/ seal problems. The Simplus I've been using for 4 months now, is way ahead of the others, a superb product. One thing I discovered recently,...

Re: Am I really negative for UARS? Taking Trazodone
Hi Morganite- I was on Trazodone for almost 10 years. I'm glad I got off of it. It wasn't by choice- I moved and my new PCP wouldn't prescribe it for me. I had a rough time sleeping for a couple weeks and was incredibly "moody". I had the wherewithal to taper off of it, but not as slowly as I would ...

Re: Lunesta (Sleep, stay asleep aid)
Yikes! I take Xanax PRN for a couple different issues. For a lot of folks .5 is a big dose. I tried all the sleep aid meds years ago and Lunesta was the least effective. Xanax should only be used as needed- you will build up a tolerance to it quick. I use melatonin and with great success.
