Re: COVID 19, CPAP, Ventilator MEGA THREAD...everything go here please

I'm 42 years old, i have asthma, and OSA. I was sick for just over 2 weeks. Not sure when I caught it, but will say when the symptoms started, it came on fast, like in the time frame of an hour felt fine to and hour later felt awful. Hope they come up with a better way to test because sticking the s...

Re: COVID 19, CPAP, Ventilator MEGA THREAD...everything go here please

Just wanted to take a moment and tell everyone that I hope they stay safe until a vaccine is completed for this. It's a rough one. I can finally say I'm over it. Never got to the point that I needed to be hospitalized. Best way to describe my experience with it would be a constant asthma attack that...

Re: Nervous about swapping to Resmed from Philips

Just switched from the Dreamstation auto to Airsense10 AutoSet about a week ago. My experience has been nothing but positive. I had been using Philips machines since 2014. With the Dreamstation auto my settings were 12-20 and the pressure would always go walking throughout the night to about 18. My ...

I believe you have to submit your claims through Carecentrix. They are the company that Cigna lets run their CPAP coverage

Re: New Cpap

Things going great. Waiting for new mask to come in. Going to try a nasal pillow mask. How have you been adjusting? Glad to see you are sticking with it. Was worried that you might have given up.

Re: F&P Sensawake feature - - Review

TangledHose, I have to agree with you on this one. I purchased the Icon Auto from cpap.com during the 20% off promotion because I thought it would be easier to travel with. I tried it out for a few nights and fell in love with the heated hose so much that I ordered the heated tubing upgrade kit for ...

Re: Cpap for sale

on my machine after you complete the amount of days you set to go through the a-trial mode it will auto go in to c-check mode and every 30 hours of use it will check the pressure to see if it can be optimized by increasing or decreasing the pressure in .5cm increments.

Re: Trying the other side of therapy

I found that when I switched from auto to straight Cpap that my FL disappeared so I just figured my body doesn't like the changes in pressure throughout the night.

Re: Insurance switch during CPAP "rent to own"

I have Cigna also with high deductible. I have the same machine you do and without hitting my deductible I have to pay the full price of the rent to own for 6 months which costs me $123.66 a month.

Re: Constant 100% mask fit reading

You might want to also use another program to view your data such as sleepyhead. I find sleepmapper to be very basic. Its more of a gold star system that gives trophies for just using the machine not to optimize your therapy. I think it's more of just a compliance tracker really.

Re: Constant 100% mask fit reading

I have the same machine. I went through a few different masks before getting comfort from my current one. The mask fitting has reported many different values. With my first mask I had it was as low as 40%-60%. I generally get around 97% now. It could be that you are getting the numbers you are becau...
