Re: Husband needs help badly
Thanks to you all. I guess you think I have forgotten about the software. Not at all. We are both going through some major health issues and I am having a hard time keeping up with it all. He is being weaned off of Wellbutrin-Internist doesn't think this is causing problems. Evidently, he does not r...

Re: Husband needs help badly
I am so worried about this and am now concerned some of this might be caused by damage from undetected Type 2 diabetes. I think I would like to try that, but my computer skills are sadly lacking. I am on a Mac with OS 10.6.8. Would this be best done by Private Message or using this board? Are you al...

Re: Husband needs help badly
That sounds like a very good idea, but I am clueless on how to do things like this. I have a Mac because it is supposed to be more user friendly. Not always so...

Re: Husband needs help badly
It says -0- per cent, but would the technician have moved all of the settings back to zeroes yesterday in the appointment? He didn't bring home a copy of what she took off of the chip.
Any other suggestions?

Re: Husband needs help badly
I found the video that shows how to access the Info and AHI setting. Here is what is reflected there under AHI: 1 day 0.0, 7days 0.6, 30 days 0.8. I don't know if this is important or not, but the model indicates it is a C Flex+. I thought there was a sticker, but it clearly is printed on the machin...

Re: Husband needs help badly
OK, will try to determine the tutorial you are referring to and look at his machine in the morning. It is 2:30 am here.
Some of the symptoms are really worrisome. I think I pretty well covered those n my initial post.
Thank you,

Re: Husband needs help badly
You know, considering some of the symptoms he is exhibiting, my first thought would be maybe he needs to be on O2.

Re: Husband needs help badly
Here is at least part of the information you all asked me to post. Please bear with me here. My own health is really rough or I would have attended the appointment with him. I am doing my best to get this information together and posted. I think I recall him telling me that the original sleep study ...

Re: Husband needs help badly
I will order the oximeter, but right now I have a house full of Thanksgiving company making it difficult to work through much of this. My husband seems to be perked up a bit today, but I am still very concerned and will next try to wade through more of these suggestions and try to understand them. T...

I am still unable to update my profile, despite changing the things you all have suggested. I don't know what the hangup is.

Re: Husband needs help badly
OK, I will place this in my profile. REF# is 1091398. I did fail to mention something that may or may not be significant. I have tried to tell his pulmonary doctor that there is something wrong with his breathing. If he were to be asleep and I listen, I think he is underbreathing and I can count his...

Husband needs help badly
My husband has had a C Pap machine for about 2 years or so. Initially, the old one was set too high causing extremely dry nasal passages and throat, as well as constant sneezing all day. A new doctor started him on a new machine and reduced the settings from 13 to 6, I believe. While the problems ab...
