Re: SleepyHead: differing AHIs on "summary only" nights

So, from the results of my limited number of missed detailed data days, I would guess that SleepyHead is unable to accurately calculate the AHI if the detailed data is missing, which to me doesn't seem too surprising. Yeah, this was my conclusion too. I was mostly concerned that SleepyHead was badl...

Re: SleepyHead: differing AHIs on "summary only" nights

OK, so I finally went with a night without the SD card inserted and had a look at the AHI reported by the clinical menu on Airsense S10. The clinical menu reported 1.9 AHI. Then inserted the SD card and imported the data into SleepyHead and it reports the AHI as 0.29. So it appears that the summary ...

Re: My Airsense 10 Autoset leaked water

Turns out they did have a spare water chamber. Yay!

It appears the faulty chamber was leaking from just above the metal plate, between the junction of the lower part of the chamber. Just below the minimum line.

Re: My Airsense 10 Autoset leaked water

At this point, I would determine if the tank was over-filled or is defective. Empty it, and dry it out. Refill with water, but to somewhere below the fill line. Keep the tank LEVEL. Observe if water continues to come out. If water comes out, mark the leaky place with a sharpie or eyeliner. It sound...

My Airsense 10 Autoset leaked water

So I woke up and realized that my Airsense 10 Autoset had been leaking water the whole night. The table I had my Airsense on was flooding with water. The leak was so slow that there was some water still in the tank after the night. I was a bit drowsy and confused when I woke up so I didn't quite reg...

Haven't yet tested what the machine reports on its display when the card is not in. Maybe I'll do that too.

Re: SleepyHead: differing AHIs on "summary only" nights

OK, I can see the machine reported AHI from the hidden clinical menu and it does match the AHI that SleepyHead reports. So I'm not sure where the low number of nights without the SD card inserted came from. (My configuration is in Finnish and there is one item labeled "Essentials" but that's only on...

Re: SleepyHead: differing AHIs on "summary only" nights

I did get the "hidden clinical menu" open, but I didn't find any options to display the AHI. Maybe I missed something?

Re: SleepyHead: differing AHIs on "summary only" nights

I don't have AHI on machine's display. I think I need to contact my apnea nurse on how to turn them on. AFAIK I can't do that on my own.

Re: SleepyHead: differing AHIs on "summary only" nights

Bump.

Did another night without the SD card inserted and the summary night has a much lower AHI than my typical night. I don't think it's a coincidence.

Anyone have a clue why summary data has a significantly lower AHI versus SleepyHead's AHI?

SleepyHead: differing AHIs on "summary only" nights

I forgot to put my SD card for couple of nights so I had a "summary only" data on SleepyHead on those nights. Not a problem since my Resmed S10 made those summary entries anyhow. I'm wondering, however, if the machine calculates the AHI quite differently compared to SleepyHead. Those two nights have...

Re: Treatment going well, but a lot of "clear airway" events

clear airway=central apnea=ca different words, same thing. OK. Nothing much I can do about it, then? "relatively many" is meaningless. you could have 1 oa and 2 ca and that would be "twice as many!" relatively speaking. unless I missed it, you didn't say how many. Sorry, it was only in the diagram,...

Treatment going well, but a lot of "clear airway" events

I've been a little over two weeks on CPAP and it's been great so far. No more slogging through the day feeling dead-tired all the time. Today I finally got my SD card out of the machine and started using Sleepyhead software. The only curious thing is that there are relatively many "Clear Airway" eve...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.

I've been on CPAP for six nights and I think I can count myself as success story so far. Been getting 6-8.5 hours of sleep every night and although the machine doesn't feel like second nature yet, I'm pretty confident in falling and staying asleep as long as I'm tired enough. And although I'm still ...
