Re: Rain out questions.... again
It has been an unusually wet winter and spring. In fact, it's pouring right now again.

Re: Rain out questions.... again
Determine what the source of the humidity in the bedroom is in the first place and try to come up with a solution to ventilate that air out of the room. I think I'll try turning the bathroom fan on too to see if that keeps airflow moving. I am in a catch 22 with room temp. Hubby and I both sleep be...

Re: Rain out questions.... again
Ok.. temp at night in our house is set to 65, so I should start by bumping up to 66 and putting the hose wrap back on.
I'll try for a couple days and report back.
Thanks Pugsy!!

Rain out questions.... again
Seems like the only issue I have after a couple years is rain out. I'm stumped about what to do, so coming back to the brain trust here. I currently have a heated hose set at 62, no water in my humidifier, and I'm still waking up with enough water in my Nasal pillows and in the mask tube that I'm ha...

Re: Rain Out Help
Quick update - we turned down the room humidifier and I had one full glorious night of sleep. Last night I had ran out again but it was only in the tube between my mask to the heated climate line tube. Should I try a hose cover over my mask tubing or do you think I need to rearrange and run my tubin...

Re: Rain Out Help
I've been trying different things the last couple nights with no relief. Last night I was so frustrated I removed my hose and mask and hung them up in the hope they would drip dry out - they were all wet in the morning. The water droplets were throughout the whole hose including my mask hose - going...

Rain Out Help
I've had my S9 for over a year. In the last couple months, I've been having a lot of issues with rain out - to the point that I'm waking up because I'm finding inthard to breathe because of water in my mask. I turned my climate line hose down, but I'm still having issues. I'm trying to figure out if...

Re: What Do Folks Do When a Cold Strikes?
So glad some of you mentioned Breathe Right strips. - something else I can try. I have a VERY angry nose with inflamed middle turbinates. Add a cold to that and I feel like I'm suffocating at night. I'm on everything right now - mucinex, sudafed, astelin, zetonna, Singulair so happy to get one more ...

Re: What Do Folks Do When a Cold Strikes?
For those of you that use nasal pillows, What kind of FFM do you keep as a backup during cold season?

Re: Backup Machine Question
Thanks for the thoughts! For whatever reason, the cleaning that secondwind does to the machines + the one year warrant makes me feel better than buying from Craigslist, unless that was my only option...

Re: Chin Strap Suggestions
When I first started using my CPAP, I started with this chinstrap https://www.cpap.com/productpage/premium-chinstrap-mouthleak.html. I switched to this one https://www.cpap.com/productpage/ruby-style-adjustable-chinstrap-extension-strap.html for a few nights, but went back to the first one I had. Th...

Backup Machine Question
Hello - Tonight, as I'm going to bed really late, I'm reminded that I really need a backup machine so I can sleep on the couch or the spare bedroom if I want to be nice and not wake up hubby in the middle of the night filling my humidifer, etc I see several "ResMed S9 Escape CPAP with EPR" on second...

Re: Vitamin D and sleep apnea
My doc has me on 10,000 units per day which finally got me back into the normal range. Like others, I can't say that having normal Vitamin D levels has made a huge difference, but that + B12 supplements + getting sleep at night + finally having energy to exercise = a healthier me with a clearer mind.

Re: Longer lasting power for tent camping
Hi All - I promised an update earlier this year and was too busy camping this summer to do it. The battery I got was able to easily run my CPAP + Humidifier and usually ended up at ~ 70-80% charge remaining each night. Since those batteries are not supposed to drop below 50%, we charged the battery ...

Re: Longer lasting power for tent camping
Thanks for the help! With time of the essence so I can test and know what I'm getting into before we leave this weekend, we bought what we could find today: Battery - Sears AGM Group 31 http://www.sears.com/diehard-platinum-marine-battery-group-size-31m-price/p-02850131000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockTy...
