Sleepyhead for Air Curve?

Does anyone know if the newest release of Sleepyhead (v0.9.8-1) is compatible with the Resmed Air Curve 10 V Auto?
Thanks!

Re: Bilevel IPAP Quits Before Done Inhaling

Hi All, Thanks for your responses--I appreciate it! Glad to know that the ResMed machine has an option of changing the settings and yes, I could probably also learn to ignore it/get used to it if needed. I don't hear an audible noise (my hearing isn't fabulous), I just feel it in my body (it feels l...

Bilevel IPAP Quits Before Done Inhaling

Hi All, Last night was my second night trying the PR System One REMStar 60 Series BiPAP Auto with Bi-flex (DS760 Bilevel Machine). Last night I used it in straight bi-level mode with pressure support (difference between EPAP & IPAP) of 4. I found that it bothered me (when going to sleep, when I woke...

Re: Disadvantages of Bi-Level?

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to everyone who has given their feedback and ideas here! I appreciate it! A couple of follow-up questions: JNK: I'm aware that sleeping on one's left side, tucking the chin and/or the modified Sims' (Falcon position on this board) position can help aerophagia. When yo...

Re: Disadvantages of Bi-Level?

Hi Julie, How do I delete a thread? I tried yesterday when I posted a mask that was available & couldn't figure out how to delete it after the mask was taken (I was able to edit the original post and add a reply saying the mask was no longer available, but not able to delete the thread in entirety)....

Disadvantages of Bi-Level?

Hi All, My doctor is considering prescribing an auto bi-level machine with the hope that it will allow me to have higher minimum pressures without aerophagia symptoms. I've read extensively on the board about the bi-level machines (thank you RobySue & Pugsy in particular but also to the others who'v...

Re: Energized After Sleep Study But Not With Home CPAP?

Here's a new update: Since my original posting I've used a higher top pressure range (I started with opening it up to 20 but have now brought it down to 13 since the maximum pressure the machine has used so far is still 11.72), I've tried turning off EPR (had HORRIBLE aerophagia so turned it back on...

Re: APAP to CPAP?

Question: do people swallow less air when they go to a nose mask? I have found that I need lower pressures when I use a nasal mask than when I use a full face mask and the lower pressures mean less aerophagia pain for me; I also need lower pressures with nasal pillows than with a nasal mask and tha...

ResMed AirFit N10 Nasal Mask (No Longer Available)

Hi All, I have a basically new ResMed AirFit N10 Nasal Mask that I'm happy to pass on to someone who can use it. The model is this one: http://www.resmed.com/us/en/consumer/products/masks/airfit-n10.html It is the standard unisex grey/blue version (not the grey/pink "for her" version) and the size o...

Re: Energized After Sleep Study But Not With Home CPAP?

So here's an update: As a first experiment I opened up the top range of my pressures (to 20 just to see where the machine would go if left to its own devices) & left the bottom pressure at 5. That definitely reduced the apneas & hypopneas...in the past four nights I've had two nights with NO obstruc...

Re: nose stuffs up - air can't go in...

You are not alone in this experience. I, too, have experienced more congestion with nasal pillows than I do with a nasal mask. I'm new and in the process of sorting out what works for me, but here are my thoughts: 1) It may get better with time. At the beginning I got congestion with a nasal mask an...

Re: Energized After Sleep Study But Not With Home CPAP?

Hi Pugsy, Thanks for responding:)! I have traditionally generally slept on my side. That said, due to a 2011 car accident my physical therapist suggested training myself to sleep on my back due to (still existing) chronic shoulder & back pain issues. Since the OSA diagnosis I have been aware that OS...
