Re: Anyone use sinus clearing oil, goes into cpap intake?
Pur sleep is quite good. My experience is the first few nights are MAGIC ! Clear sinus, low AHI but then you become desensitized - can't even smell it any longer and sleep benefits go away. That was my experience.

Re: CPAP works but no relief of symptoms
My sleep study looked similar to yours - it took about a year - yes 1 year and 100% compliance before things turned around. My GP believes in the concept of "sleep deficit " - who knows ... Assuming you are refraining from alcohol, sugars and late eating - based on my experience I would add the follo...

Does a cold room = lower AHI ?
My normal AHI is around 2.0 every night with a sleeping temp of about 70 F Last week,I was traveling and my hotel room was very cold - about 65F In those 3 nights, my AHI was - 0.3 - 0.7 - 0.5 Came home and back to 2.0 Is there are correlation ? I felt shockingly better at those sub 1 AHIs. Been kee...

Re: AirSense AutoSet Noise
Been using my AirSense 3 weeks now -- about 2 feet from my head -- it is absolutely silent.
Hard for me to imagine what noise you hear.

Re: New APAP Shopping
Using my Airsense for 3 weeks now - had the Respironics system one.
It is much smaller, lighter and quieter than the Respironics. I find no issues with built in humidifier.
Really like the machine.

Re: New Cpap Pillow from SleepGuy
Don't mean to hijack the thread - since you mentioning sleep guy - gotta weigh in. He sent me one of his aromatics ( clear ) . My AHI is consistently around 2.5 and I awaken often after 3:00. First nite on the " clear" aromatic - AHI dropped to 2.0. For the last five days, straight, my AHI is under 0...

Re: If get dental device will Medicare take away CPAP
When you say "trouble sleeping" on CPAP - how so ? Fragmented sleep.unable to sleep, etc. Feb 2014,I had a dental appliance fitted ( $3,000 out of my pocket ). I have mild OSA - AHI around 2.5. My experience was that it certainly helped ..but.. after about 3 months, I started to feel my jaw muscles "...

Re: Resmed AirSense just released...will Respironics be next
Just finished 5th night on AirSense Elite - sharing a couple of thoughts. Love the size, design and quiet of the machine. Have several observations -- if anyone has thoughts . Using the Rispironics Auto; My AHI was averaging between 1-3 and 95% pressure was 6.5%. No CA. Using the AirSense : AHI is av...
