Re: Using 2 Machines with Sleepyhead
PS. Used same settings on S9 Vpap as my SP Autoset last night. PS of 3 sure seemed to feel different than EPR of 3. Maybe it was just in my mind. It may not all be in your mind. I experienced a similar feeling when I tried cpap mode on my VPAP and use EPR of 3 in cpap mode and PS of 3 in VPAP fixed...

Re: Using 2 Machines with Sleepyhead
SleepyHead won't care if you have multiple machines in one user profile so there is no need to create a new profile. Now the S9 machines themselves care so you can't mix machine data on one SD card (it can be done on Respironics machines though...one card for multiple machines) so if you still have...

Using 2 Machines with Sleepyhead
All, I just began trying a new machine and would like to know how to handle the data from both on Sleepyhead. Of course, I have a new clear SD cards for the new machines. Do I just set up a new "user" for each machine or can I roll it into my existing user profile? It looks like a new one would be n...

Re: P10 users sound off
I am a P10 user and use a medium sized pillow. I am new to CPAP therapy. I started August 11th. So if you are a P10 user yourself I would like to know what size cushion you are using and how long that cushion is lasting for you. How long you are using it? Are you loving the mask, tolerating, or hat...

Re: Fractured sleep, Ambien, dial wingin' and other things
I think its great that we bring some of these really good threads back up from time to time for all of us and especially new users. We all know it's sometimes hard to find these jewels with the search function. I think it serves a purpose if some of the veterans picked really good threads over the y...

Re: My story; something I learned
After last night, I think you're right about this. I do experience tachycardia when I wake up with xerostomia. I just hadn't noticed it before. Thanks for the heads up. I sent a message to my RT just now suggesting we either 1. reduce pressure to reduce xerostomia to reduce mouth leaks to reduce ap...

Re: Stunned... Can this possibly be right???
Agreed, but I thought it might explain why I previously had much worse AHIs at lower pressures when I was trying to use a full face mask and mouth breathe. Yes, the lower settings are still providing some therapy, but given that I was getting AHIs > 60 at those settings before with the full face ma...

Re: Flow limitations – how much is too much?
I've never understood what "rera" is or means. any help? Respiratory effort related arousal, defined as: -Sequence of breaths lasting at least 10 seconds - Increased respiratory effort or flattening of the pressure waveform - Leading to arousal from sleep - Does not meet criteria for apnea or hypop...

Re: Flow limitations – how much is too much?
I've been on AutoCPAP now for a little over a month, and although some symptoms are better I'm definitely still fatigued and not getting more energy. After the wonderful help of many people on this site, I'm in the middle of slowly bringing my minimum pressure up, although it's now at 7.8 and the m...

Re: My story; something I learned
I had been taking SSRIs for decades (for anxiety, not depression), long before I started snoring or having sleep apnea. Plus, since I've gotten off Lexapro, the anxiety has come back even though I'm compliant with my BiPAP machine. I suppose it's conceivable that I've had sleep apnea since my early...

Re: Looking for Phillips 60 Series Auto Bipap
Contact grayghost4 http://www.cpaptalk.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=72737 I don't know if he has any BiPaps though. Never hurts to ask. I have one that I loaned out but it came back to me with a smoking odor. Damn it. I could try to see if I could get it aired out...get with me if you can'...

Looking for Phillips 60 Series Auto Bipap
All, I'm looking for an auto bipap/bilevel to give a try at a fair price. I would prefer the hours to be around 2500 or less from a non-smoking environment. The heated humidifier and hose option would be nice, but I would consider without as long as the model is compatible with these features. I wou...

Re: Sleepyhead Shots - Anything Here?
It looks like a normal breathing pattern to me (except that one where it shows the central happening). You're zoomed in on all the charts (except for the events chart), so you're only showing less than a minute's time span on each one. For instance, that last chart - looks like a normal breathing p...
