Re: Help trying to get comfortable with mask
If your throat is feeling dried out, chances are you are mouth breathing. In a FF mask that's OK in terms of not losing pressure, but it parches your oral tissues terribly. In my experience, humidification never really helps dry mouth all that much, because dry mouth isn't caused by low humidity, i...

Help trying to get comfortable with mask
Hi everyone! So I have a Airsense 10 and went from a Nasal Wisps mask (didn't like it) to a full face Dreamweaver mask. I do like it but I have a few concerns: I tried to turn up the humidity to a level 3 so I could feel more comfortable and not feel my throat feel dried out and sore (still learning...

Re: How do you stop sleeping on your face? (stomach/side sleeper
I guess for me laying on my stomach is a comfort thing. I have tried memory foam and cotton pillows but I still even with my face on the edge of the pillow I find myself with my face buried in the pillow (causes the mask to hiss and wakes my partner)

How do you stop sleeping on your face? (stomach/side sleeper

Re: Need help with finding the right mask
Tried a full face? I like the Resmed Airfit F10, its pretty open for a full face mask, wont keep you from reading or watching tv while wearing it if that is your habit when winding down at night. I could not handle the nasal pillows for several reasons, and didnt even bother trying a nasal only mas...

Need help with finding the right mask
Hey everyone! I've had my machine for a few months now and definitely loving the therapy (in fact retaking my college assessment tests my score increased by 100 which was great to see such a difference and proof to my that sleep apnea hurts.) but I have been having problems keeping my nasal mask on ...

Re: Taking mask off while asleep
Go to your sleep doctor to make sure the pressure is right for you. Also try out other masks. My sleep tech suggested to me the nasal pillow mask because it is ideal for stomach sleepers. I'm just waiting on mine.

Learned a Lesson From Cleaning Tube
So I've been using my machine for about a week now and cleaned my mask and tube. Well the mask was clean and dried by the time I needed to go to bed, but my tube had a few water drops inside it. I thought to myself "it's ok it's dry enough!" or so I thought. at about 4 maybe 5am I woke up ripped the...

Question about the Tube
So far I've been doing ok with my machine. Not 100% yet but feeling a bit better and my partner confirmed I haven't been snoring which is awesome. My only issue is the tube cord keeps getting tangled, how can I fix that? I also notice if I have the tub resting over my head more airflow happens.

First Night With My Machine
So finally after many moons and suns of waiting I was able to use my very own machine! It's definitely going to take some time adjusting but I woke up feeling a little better I felt like I was getting trapped air bubbles in my stack at times but other than that I felt ok. My pressure setting is at a...

Re: Can someone help translate my sleep study?
I suspect that Ash has Kaiser and was titrated on a PR APAP. If that's the case, then leaks during titration were actually very good. Kaiser tends to give out full efficacy data machines (APAP), pressure settings wide open, and they do not generally offer a choice of machine. The Watch-PAT is a lim...

Re: Can someone help translate my sleep study?
Thanks for the link No they didn't tell me anything. My doctor said that I was getting a CPAP machine with a humidifier and mask but that was all I know. I can probably find out though. I'm supposed to hear back from the sleep lab about it any day now. The wait is awful Been tired and trying not to ...
