Re: Battery power packs for camping

I've been using the PowerAdd 32000 mAh battery for almost 2 weeks now with no issue. It can power my CPAP for 4-5 8 hour nights on a single charge - not bad. I'm going on a 3 night backpacking trip in 2 weeks and will be using the battery and CPAP then!

Re: Battery power packs for camping

Second night with the PowerAdd was a success. Down to 54% after another 8 hours. At this rate, one could expect approx 32 hours of use (keep in mind I am at 6.5 pressure setting - YMMV)

Re: Battery power packs for camping

Good news! The PowerAdd 32000mAh battery appears to work. It stayed on for me 8 hours without a problem (it appears to not have any auto-shutoff circuitry, which normally would be a downfall, but as good thing for us!). It's $30 more than the introcircuit, but still much less than many other special...

Re: Battery power packs for camping

Another night of unsuccessful CPAP battery operation. I tried adjusting some of the CPAP settings, but the battery still turns off. Unfortunately the only way to override the 'sleep mode' is by pressing a button, which will not work for our situation. I got in touch with tech support and was told th...

Re: Battery power packs for camping

Thanks all for the tips. I'm trying to come up with a creative way to monitor this! Some updates. I hooked up a multi-meter to get an idea how much current my CPAP was drawing. I am at pressure setting of 6.5 with no humidifier attached. Display only (no blowing): <.1 amps (note that this does not t...

Re: Battery power packs for camping

Is it possible that the unit is shutting off because when asleep you are not using enough AMPs? Where you would have no OSD events and the auto pressure would not rise the AMPs used would be low; wouldn't it? I thought about that, however I tested just leaving my CPAP plugged in but not turned on (...

Re: Battery power packs for camping

After another night of testing, the Intocircuit still shuts off every 2-4 hours during usage with my CPAP. I'm not sure why, and it is rather difficult to determine as I'm asleep when it happens. When running it all day without myself connected, it appears to run fine - not sure what the differentia...

Re: Battery power packs for camping

I'm very interested in this! Can you provide a link to what exactly you are using? Is it the one on Amazon? Also what other cords or converters are you using? Are you powering with the humidifier or just the unit? If just the unit are you using the unit still attached with the humidifier off? This ...
