Re: S9 Autoset usage not resetting; shows 24-hours, high AHI
So far so good. Both Tuesday and Wednesday it reset at noon. I've had typical ~3 AHIs and accurate usage stats for the last two nights. Hopefully it will continue!

Re: setback on my sleep apnea, requet for help
The reason people don't want to answer the questions as you asked them is that you're asking the wrong questions. Your therapy is objectively working. It's extremely unlikely that there's anything wrong with your machine. And it's very unlikely that going from a CPAP to a BiPAP machine would cause t...

I just got a brand new P10 and it came with the clips. I think they've finally heard our complaints.

What makes you think your machine or settings are not working. Those numbers are about as near to perfect as you can get.

Re: Which mask with facial hair
Do you have reason to believe that you're mouthbreathing? My own experience with a FFM and beard was not positive, to say the least, so I would really recommend against that struggle unless you really need it.

Well, I've done a factory reset and reentered all my settings. Won't really know tomorrow, but should the next day.

Re: S9 Autoset usage not resetting; shows 24-hours, high AHI
No... but it sounds like your buddy is about to bite the dust. Hope you have a backup. Also know that dealing with a new prescription, insurance and a typical dme can take time. I have a 99 year scrip, so that shouldn't be a problem. I have new insurance since my diagnosis and machine purchase, but...

Re: DME won't give me my supplies they owe me
I don't know what mask you have , but I think most people get lots more than a month out of their cushions. Indeed, I stretch mine to six months or more without issues. I clean them fairly regularly, boil them occasionally, and only replace them when I'm having issues with leaks. My head gear wears...

S9 Autoset usage not resetting; shows 24-hours, high AHI
My S9 Autoset has suddenly started showing 24 hours of usage each day and not resetting at noon. I'm also not sure whether it's recording AHI correctly; I think that it's just adding each night's numbers to the pervious day's (yesterday it showed an AHI of 14.2, today it shows 15.1; but I usually av...

Aside from weight loss, which helps some people, and the things you've already ruled out, *PAP therapy is about all there is.

Re: Brand new and I should be a case study with these issues
boiling the water would be dumb, that would just concentrate the minerals and make the reservoir crust up faster. Actually, that's how you "make" distilled water. You either boil it or let it sit in an open container at room temperature for a period of time. That's really, really incorrect. Distill...

Re: Brand new and I should be a case study with these issues
Just because you are a mouth breather without CPAP doesn't mean you are with it. I was a horrible mouth breather but I have absolutely no mouth breathing issues using a nasal pillows mask. It's worth a try, at least. I get that and with the Eson I was able to maintain a closed mouth. It seems that ...

Re: How Do You Get Used to the Loud Sound of the Blowing Air?
I think it's really about finding the right mask. For me, that was the Resmed Airfit P10. Whisper quiet and literally zero leaks.
