For sure, they would have touted a "new, improved" algorithm had they changed it. Why for sure ? xPAP devices are subject to regulatory approval (pretty much everywhere they are sold) and the vendors of such devices are quite unlikely to ever make a puffy claim like that about therapeutic benefits....

I use a Resmed AirMini when travelling and it will work in any orientation. I haven't had any issues in finding a way to use on a wide variety of vehicles.

I had been using the older (hard plastic) N30i nose piece, but it was indeed noisy compared to the similar P30i equivalent.

The new N30i nose piece is basically made using the P30i exhaust filter design and is MUCH quieter than the original one. A well worthwhile improvement for me!
