Re: Teeth misalignment due to CPAP

I'm new to this, so can't speak to tooth misalignment. I've also only spent one night with the AirFit p10, but I can say that it never once touched my upper lip or put any pressure there, not even when I was laying on my back. I'm coming off the Nuance to the AirFit and the Nuance is an excellent ma...

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread

Impressions night 1: What mask? There is no mask. Seriously, I thought the Nuance was unobtrusive, but this thing just vanished almost from the moment I turned my machine on and laid down. My numbers are about the same so far. My AHI has been under 1 most days since I started therapy. This thing too...

Re: Free Nuance Pro up for grabs.

And gone! I think you'll like it honestly. It really IS a good mask. I just prefer the regular Nuance over it. The regular Nuance is my current go-to mask. The gel cushions are sweet, don't even feel them.

Free Nuance Pro up for grabs.

Because someone on this forum is amazing an awesome, I'll be getting an AirFit to try out. Therefore, I have a Nuance Pro version up for grabs. It comes with all three pillow sizes, the small's been used for about three weeks, the medium and large only have a few hours mileage on them from when I wa...

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread

If anyone on this thread that finds the AirFit too tight, I have a Nuance Pro I'm looking to trade. I love the Nuance and still use it, but it fits differently than the Pro. The Pro would be an awesome mask for someone with a head that's bigger than mine. It's just too durned big for me.

Re: Nuance Pro trade for?

I would also be willing to trade the mask for this cpap pillow: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/cpapma ... oduct.html

Or a buckwheat hull pillow.

Re: Nuance Pro trade for?

Actually, the headgear is different between the two, you can't interchange them. The back strap is still not adjustable, but it feels like it fits tighter. I couldn't keep the Pro from sliding around and up in the back and couldn't keep the side straps from being way too close to my eyes. I don't ha...

Re: Nuance Pro trade for?

I'm having great luck with the Nuance, it fits completely different than the Pro.

Nuance Pro trade for?

After having spent a bit of time with both the Nuance and the Nuance Pro, I've decided that the Pro is just not for me. The headgear is too large. I love the Nuance, but it's always good to try new things just in case there's something better out there. The Pro was used for about three weeks and wil...

Re: Price disparity

I hate to say it, but as to the how they can sell them so cheap (not legally, but how they can afford to) is likely someone selling what's not used out of fit kits. Maybe even someone from a smaller DME. Give the patient the one they need, keep the other two and sell them on ebay. Not everyone knows...

Re: Respironics Nuance Pro/Nuance Mask Review

What size pills are you using Chunky? I thought for sure I'd be a large. Nope, leaked like crazy from the top of one nare without even moving. At first I thought, I can't go bigger than this! I'm now down to the small. I've found that if that little cone guide is too big, it will not seal. It'll fee...

Re: Looking for recommendations from actual userss

I'm new at this, so correct me if I'm wrong. From what I've read on this forum about the two favored machines (The ResMed S9 and the Respironics 560) they both have pluses and minuses, but both do a good job and report full data and the Respironics is a little bit cheaper since money is a factor.

Re: Respironics Nuance Pro/Nuance Mask Review

I'm normally not fond of drudging up months old topics, but I felt I needed to put my two cents in on this one. Disclaimer: I have nothing to compare this mask to other than the Swift FX used during my study. ...and I probably never will have. It took me a little while to figure out that I needed th...

Re: Night 3 that alien thing on my face...

It could be the gel, but looking at my mask it seems that the gel is completely encased in a thin layer of silicone and the actual gel doesn't really touch your skin? Do you have the Nuance Pro or the Nuance? If you have the Pro are the side straps causing the same irritation? If it's not an allergy...
