Re: The new Dream Station

Thanks, LSAT. I didn't have to pay anything when I was first diagnosed and got the PR System One, but was not on Medicare then. That was almost 7 years ago. Now, on Medicare, I don't want to pursue the new Dream Station that costs $800 plus if Medicare balks. Thanks for answering my question. dinycat

Re: The new Dream Station

I mean will I have to pay a lot for the new machine? I'm on Medicare and supplemental Blue Cross insurances.

The new Dream Station

Silly question: does Medicare help pay for the new machine?

Re: Free Remzzz's?

Oh, yes, you may be correct! They're thin and fit under the mask! I forgot what they were called. If I don't get them to someone, I'm going to use them between my fine china plates!

Free Pad a Cheeks

I have a partial package of Pad a Cheeks that I no longer use--with perhaps 40 left. I just didn't like them as they made me too hot. If you'll pay the postage, they're yours. I suspect I can put them in a regular envelope (folded) and it won't be expensive.

Re: OOPS!

Thanks, PaleRider!

Should the 90% number be high or low?

It's a silly question, but I am not mathematical. I majored in English Literature. I can diagram a mean sentence, but all this data she talks about is Greek to me.

Thanks, Papit, but I made a mistake. See my OOPS post.

OOPS!

I'm sorry people. I told you I haven't posted for awhile, and I AM getting older. My AH1 is always in the lower numbers, not the 90% Pressure Reading. I guess I don't understand what the 90% figure represents. Anyway, I'm cool. Still low AH1 and benefitting from CPAP, but don't know what causes diff...

90% Pressure Reading help

I haven't been on the forum for a couple of years now, and am having a difficult time of it. I think this time my post will go through. I love my CPAP and thank all of you for helping me get used to it a few years back. I even nap with it, and have become the ultimate "Hose Head", recommending CPAP ...

Mask leaks

I haven't been on the site, nor even monitored my machine with Encore for several months. Today, I noticed all looked okay except that my mask leakage rate has risen gradually to 30. Is this too much?

Thanks. Hope everyone is well.

Re: Hands splints with CPAP arrgggghhhh

I, too, wear splints on both hands, and mine go half way up to my elbows--all for carpal tunnel syndrome. I attach my mask first. It is, indeed, very uncomfortable at first, but I'm used to sleeping (and looking like Frankenstein) now.

Re: Rape topic?

Maybe, just maybe (and I can't believe I'm saying this), this site needs a little monitoring.

Apparently, anything can be posted.

I happen to be a writer, so I'll get to work on it.
