Re: Smell in New Resmad

My DME? Yeah we can talk about DMEs all day long! Not a pleasant experience with them. I'm sure folks will 'chime in'. Well I was surprised last night. Changed the "ClimateLineAir" tube and plugged my old 22mm. I had washed everything before using but obviously not enough. The "ClimateLineAir" is h...

Got my new Resmed. The smell is very strong. Is this normal in a new machine?

clinician manual for ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet

I'm trying to find the clinician manual for ResMed AirSense 10 Auto. I tried the Apnea Board. I don't see it available for download. Anybody know how to get one? I emailed them. Hope that works. Purchased this yesterday. I don't have a service provider. I don't see the point of their service and in ...

Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

I am still trying to figure out what "Q" series means since this is the first time we've seen this Maybe it stands for "Quit using these"   Palerider, a few years ago explained the wonderful advantage of having a Resmed. Well I just paid for one and waiting delivery. Palerider has w...

Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

Philips is in no danger of going under due to this. Annual revenue is over $20 billion. I think "Respironics" is a subsidiary of Philips. This has all the markings of a company wanting to get out of this business and closing the lawsuits behind it. If the sub isn't selling to a third party and Phil...

Hello,

I would love to take this one off your hands. I'd be happy to pay for shipping though!

I'm new to this CPAP, but the two masks I've already tried haven't been working well for me.
I just sent to you a private message.

Giving mask for free....gone to a new home

I purchased a "ResMed Swift™ FX Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with Headgear" on July 15, 2020. I can't use this! If anyone wants it for free; please give me your postal address. I'll pay for the shipping too. Can't stand to see this wonderful mask not used by someone who needs it! I used it for 1 and 1/2 h...

Re: CPAP vs BIPAP/CO2 issue?

I've tried both. Bipap was much easier at exhale. My pressure was 14/8. I could have gone to 20/8 and still would have been find, although I didn't try 20/8. I found bipap gives a wide range of options. If it's auto bipap one can use something like 14/5; which at least gives you a chance of getting ...

Does anybody find a difference in noise of DS Bipap vs. APAP? I wonder if Pale Rider is still around?

Re: Drean Station AHI different than SH

Yes, turning the machine off at some point during the night can affect the numbers on the LCD screen. When you turn the machine off and then back on again you are creating a second sleep session and sometimes the AHI numbers shown on the screen reflect only the second most recent session and not th...
