Re: surprise but canadacpap is us!
That company is owned by Lincare. Is it coming in from Florida? They certainly gave me good service. I have never paid duty. Took almost three weeks to get here! Good luck. Secondwindcpap.com takes two weeks.

Re: Can someone please help me
He is using an APAP? Why isn't the pressure going up after 5:30? Because APAPs can't/won't respond to centrals with more pressure. It's part of the algorithm for apaps...they only respond to obstructive in nature apnea events....not centrals at all. I few months ago someone posted an advertise by R...

Re: Can someone please help me
On the bad night the pressure really doesn't vary much except for the period of time from 1:30 to 2:30. Up until around 2:00 AM centrals were random when the pressure was around 10. The bulk of the centrals start around 5:30 AM when the pressure was back down to around 10. Odd that for several hour...

Re: Can someone please help me
I'm reading this entire post. Have you stated what the initial starting pressure is? This, for many people is very important. When he checks the unit at 3:00 AM is he shutting the unit off. At re-start he would have a new starting pressure. What is the pressure setting? Is he using a ramp pressure?

Re: Is bipap difficult?
Personally, I find it much easier to breath with my PR System One BiPAP Auto than I did with the S9 AutoSet with EPR that I was set up with at the start of my therapy. Like so many other things, it all depends on your breathing and how the machine detects it. I'm an outlier, but I always felt like ...

Re: Perfection
as long as you can stay below five you will be good. if mine's much over 2, I can feel it, 5 may be "treated" in the eyes of the medical field, but it doesn't work for me, that's averaging some disturbance every 12 minutes, all night long *blech* Every time I see a post acknowledging that an AHI be...

Re: Torn about what CPAP to select
I think you have UARS. Are you taking statins? Your symptoms look just like a "maintenance drug" use! Also you only have about $500 to loose. Buy from http://www.secondwindcpap.comFiveTwo wrote:

Re: DreamStation: bipap?
Hi all. Last night with pressure raised from 5 to 6 I did better with inhalation. Still having problems with exhalation though. So much pressure ears are stuffed. S/W RT at docs office for first time today. She suggested I either have a titration study or ask the doc to switch my machine to bipap m...

Re: Encouragement needed
If you like movies, TV, or reading; do it with the machine. At all times of the day and night. After a while you will be paying attention to the movie and book, and not the machine. A little while later it will feel like an old friend. There is nothing more comfortable than my machine now! Even if I...

Re: CPAP S9 vs AirCurve BiPap initial results
I do not understand what you are asking to check in the morning about being on Auto. Also, I do not see where to set or check on the AirCurve if it is on auto. However, when I read the ResScan report, it shows the prescription to be at 9 and 13 but I see no correlation to the 9 and 13 at any other ...

Re: CPAP S9 vs AirCurve BiPap initial results
I was switched from the S9 to the BiPap on the AirCurve S 10 about two weeks ago. I started with a full face mask but after 5 days of fighting with it, I switched back to my nasal mask but still on the Air Curve machine. I was used to the nasal mask and it worked great. No trouble sleeping, no trou...
