Re: Better nasal pillow - Swift FX or Aloha?

They are both the best pillows on the market. I prefer Aloha because it's nowhere near my eyes and I can wear it looser and still get a good seal. That said, the swift LT is still a good one , too

Re: Respironics Nuance Pro/Nuance Mask Review

I can't have thing next to my eyes, I'm a side sleeper. I would like to try those gel pillows, though, just on something that's off my eyes like the aloha.

Re: CPAP OMG

I've learned that the little accessories on the masks can be the whole difference between a comfortable night sleep and waking up and adjusting the mask every half hour. For a pillow type mask, the Aloha by Innomed comes with cushioned cover pads that wrap around the headgear on the face. The fact t...

Re: Design fault with the Aloha pillow mask

I haven't seen that problem from the Aloha myself, but if you think you have one that isn't right, call the Innomed company and get it replaced. I did that once with a nasal aire and got a new nose piece. They're real good about it. Try running water through it with the pillows blocked and see if wa...

Re: Liberty or Innomed Hybrid

I wore the Hybrid by Innomed for 3 years and still go back when I have a bad cold. If you spend a little time trying on all the cushions and pillow sets they give you, you should get a nice fit. There are some great tips here to help. Always fit the chin first and the pillows last each time you put ...

Re: Obamacare: Cutting Liberals' Hours

No one really understood the effect Obama-care would have on this country, not even Nancy Pelosi. I think we would have all been better if if thy just passed a pre existing condition clause and some kind of affordable medicaid for the unemployed. The rest of it will cause nothing but distress and do...

flexable spending accounts

It might be a good idea to see what's left in your FSA if your company year end in Dec 31. Don't forget that CPAPs qualify as do all the masks, mask parts, filters, hoses and the like. These plans are "use it or loose it" so check to see what kind of balance you have and get to spending it. If your c...

concerned for northeast cpap'ers

I just hope the people going without electric up north don't have to go without their pap therapy for long.
What could we worse? I hope there are public charging stations for batteries.
Let this be a warning for us all to be properly prepared for loss of electric!

Re: Aloha, Opus, Pilairo? Need help choosing one.

I would start with the Aloha (not just on my say so but the reviews online, especially cpap.com) , I would proceed to the Opus and than the Pilaro nasal mask. I don't think you'll give up the first one.

Re: REVIEW -Philips Respironics "Amara" Full Face Mask

Dude, that hamburger nose thing sucks. It drove me to the hybrid which I wore for 4 or more years. Maybe get some of those gel things , they use to be made by sequal. Get something between your nose and that mask before you get an infection.
