IrinaF, Don't worry about it I have my cpap now for about 25 day's and I still take my off at first can't sleep it on. I have window's 8.1 Stick with SleepyHead for now till you get more comfortable with the software and what you see. The only Respironics software that will install on Windows 8xx is Pro 2.12 and it's a beast to install and use. EncoreBasic is simpler and easier but it won't install on Windows 8xxx....

Can't find the model number? It's on the bottom of the blower on a little silver sticker. It may have the letters DS or REF in front of it. It is in tiny letters. On the same sticker is an 8 digit number in the lower corner...that would be year/month/day of manufacture....example 20130601 would be ...

I have a 6 prescription too, and so far (5 months) I have not needed the humidifier. Unless it is really dry where you are, you might want to try the therapy without it. How am i able to access the website from my computer. Right now im just using my cell phone and i would like to see signatures and the such. And yes, i am hypothyroid. Look on the bottom of the blower unit for a 3 digit model number and tell us that number. Remove water tank first. Water at the mask level..how much? A little or a lot? Any water in the hose? It could be moisture in your own exhaled breath condensing in the mask ....happens to the best of us if we ...

Use of the ramp feature is optional and is a comfort feature so you turning it off won't be changing your prescribed treatment. In fact, turning it off will get you to your prescribed pressure quicker. Shouldn't be a problem with your provider at all. Let us know if doing this helps. I will let ya'...

Yea this is one club I think we all don't want to belong too. I haven't really messed with it since I got it and my ins haves a third party watching what I do on my cpap but I am going to have to turn if the ramp off and see if that fixes the problem in the A.M when I get home since I am at work rig...
