Re: IBreeze
How do you like it? My DME just sent me one, got it today. I was due for a new one through insurance anyway, no idea when Phillips will come through. I'm not familiar with the brand though.

Re: amara view and liners
I also use the Amara with a Padacheek liner. No issues and much more comfortable.

Re: Positive health effects from treatment?
I haven't checked my BP lately, but on the mornings after I use my CPAP all night my blood sugar is lower compared to mornings I don't.

Oh I need a hose cover. Do you have an Etsy shop or website?

Re: Amara View - nose numbness
Not really numb, but it feels like I have a large zit inside my nostril sometimes. So I guess sore?

Re: OT blood suger meter
My cat is diabetic and I buy his strips on eBay. I've also heard good things about the Relion meter like others have said. I think I'm the only one who had a bad meter from them.

Re: Mirage FX for Her
I liked it, but it moved around a lot on me b/c I toss and turn a lot while sleeping. I think it's a good mask if it works for you.

Re: How many masks have you tried before you found the one?
I've tried 4, though 2 of those were the same mask, two different sizes. Nothing has worked great. Honestly, I've even stopped using it because I can't deal with the problems I'm having with masks and my DME has apparently decided I'm too much trouble. *sigh*

Yep, and they do help, but don't eliminate.LSAT wrote:Have you tried padacheek.com ? If you have been reading posts on this board you have see it mentioned many times. She has anti-leak straps and mask liners for the Quattro mask and others.

Re: How long to give a new mask model?
I'm returning to this thread b/c I'm still having problems finding a mask that works. They gave me the Quattro again, this time in a size XS to see if that worked better. Nope. Even more leaks. I've seated, I've tweaked, I've adjusted, I've tried different masks. I'm starting to think nothing is goi...

Re: How long to give a new mask model?
I usually try 5 days, or 4 weekend nights. I'm stubborn and try hard to make a mask work. Exception was the Nuance, wore it twice and gave up. If you are looking to a FFM, the Sleepweaver Anew might work? My hubby is trying it now. He is getting leaks, but he is a stomach sleeper. Most masks he has...

I've always had that problem, even before cpap.Julie wrote:If you're not getting enough air, maybe your pressure settings are too low (or you keep hitting the ramp button - which starts off low - that takes you back to square one).

Re: How long to give a new mask model?
I've Beta tested various interfaces since 1999 when I was diagnosed with OSA ( in the neighborhood of 50 different interfaces). Usually 3 nights is enough for me to tell if the interface will work for me. Personally, I shy away from fullface masks although I have tested 4 of them, the larger the ar...

Re: How long to give a new mask model?
Previously I had been using the Mirage Quattro, and before that I had the Quattro FX. The FX leaked too much and moved around. The Quattro was better, but I still had eye leakage issues. The forehead dial is all the way down and I use a Padacheek liner , and I STILL have air blowing in my eyes. I'm...
