The tank didn't run dry prior to this smell. It just smells like that odor. Thanks for the tips though.
Also, turns out it was my machine after all. Not sure what was wrong with it exactly, but I had to get it replaced.

Re: S9 Chemical Smell...
I narrowed it down to the humidifier unit, not the tank. So, I'll try to use it without the humidifier until I can get the unit replaced. Thanks for the help.

Re: S9 Chemical Smell...
I'll try all the troubleshooting. As far as steps to cover the smell... I was just worried that something in the machine was actually burning. If that's actually the case, I don't want to be breathing it in, whether I cover the smell or not. Like the issue with the Phillips Respironics machines I li...

S9 Chemical Smell...
I did a search, and the only thing I could find was this post regarding Phillips Respironics units . I actually came across this about a week before I ran into my problem. So, here's the story: I've let my humidifier tank run dry a few times before, and woken up to the strange chemical smell that I'...

Re: ResScan Software Download
has anyone else noticed a huge leap forward in load times with this new version? I noticed a download speed improvement around version 5.0 or 5.1 maybe it was. I don't know what you were using in the past but I know I used to have a version that was considerably slower during the download process. ...

Re: ResScan Software Download
I actually did go back a few pages to find the link for the download. I signed up for the forum, sent the email, got the link, downloaded, and installed. It's not that difficult people. Reading is a good thing. Anyway, is it just me, or is this version MUCH faster to load and respond than the last v...

Re: Crazy amount of AHI end of night - HELP!
I had the same problem when I first started on CPAP. I was diagnosed with obstructive apnea, but CPAP itself caused a TON of CAs for me. The solution was to switch to a BiPAP. It has something to do with exhaling against a higher pressure. The BiPap allows the exhalation pressure to be lower, which ...

Re: Sleepyhead and Windows 10
Had I not installed the GWX app and checked my PC, I could've been in a world of hurt when I upgrade next month. Not really, before you can update you have to do a compatibility check. So no, you would not have been able to update until your computer was compatible. I didn't fully explain this, but...

Re: Sleepyhead and Windows 10
A couple things to keep in mind. 1. Windows 10 will be free to upgrade from Win 8.1 and Win 7 for 1 year. So, waiting too long can cost you money. but a year is a year... no point in loading spam on peoples computers without their knowledge under the guise of a Windows Update. That was in response ...

Re: Minimal AHI ... Still DEAD Tired! - 10 years in.
Not sure why no one noticed this before, but you mentioned in one of you're earlier posts that you take B6. It sounded like you take it prior to bed. If so, you should be aware that B-vitamins can disrupt sleep. Quite significantly, in fact. I would suggest taking the B6 in the morning to see if tha...

Re: OT: Alternate Shave Cream
I switched to a glycerine soap and brush. Takes a bit longer to lather it up, but I haven't gotten razor burn or ingrown hairs since.

So, after resetting the machine last night, my AHI was 2.23, which is more in line with what it usually is.

Re: 0 AHI for the past 7 nights.
It all looks pretty normal on SleepyHead.
Like I said, it just seems odd that I'd have a week straight of 0 AHI after almost two years of no days of 0 AHI. Along with the fact that I've changed nothing.
It just makes me really suspicious.
I'll unplug the machine and report what happens tomorrow.
