When you ran OSCAR for the first time, did you accept the default data directory of OSCAR_Data or did you specify a different directory (like the Sleepyhead directory)?
Accepted default.

Re: OSCAR Suggestions & Bug reporting

Have installed and uninstalled Oscar on my laptop have used for SleepyHead for years with zero issues a half dozen times and get absolutely nowhere. Have updated graphics card and run your graphics card fix and tried total uninstall and reinstall twice each time with no luck. Generic windows laptop...

No, they weren't. The pressure lines are all wrong for an autoSV
They absolutely were from a few months after I had met compliance on that machine
A flood of nonsense won't change the fact that those screenshots you tried to doctor were NOT from the machine you claimed them to be f...

Re: Respironics DreamStation BiPAP autoSV H/HT/C,DS

Those screen captures were from my Respironics System One BiPAP autoSV  No, they weren't. The pressure lines are all wrong for an autoSV They absolutely were from a few months after I had met compliance on that machine and my AHI had done what it is now trending on the new Dreamstation autoSV. Init...

Re: Respironics DreamStation BiPAP autoSV H/HT/C,DS

(Trim) No indication of what machine your using how it’s configured or any information to actually allow us to help you. If you have an ASV it’s def not configured to work as one. Looks like you have a static pressure BiLevel or a very badly configured Auto. They are from a autoSV where doctor was ...

Re: Respironics DreamStation BiPAP autoSV H/HT/C,DS

Those screen captures were from my Respironics System One BiPAP autoSV and don't remember why blacked out those areas as were years ago. I can't seem to get Oscar to work on my computer at present but what's odd is switching to the new Dreamstation my AHI has been 5.2, 5.9 and 2.9 with 8.2 hours ave...

Re: Leaky amara view mask are you

My Amery mask leaks but have a full beard in winter then shave in warmer weather. DME rep and doctor both told me leaks are better than no leaks as may increase tension on headgear to reduce leaks and do damage to face. My leak percentage is high with the beard and drops a lot when it is shaved off....

Re: Looking for Advice

Will try to do some screen captures and then upload to my photobucket account and share on my pulse oximeter. I initially see four graphs with O2 level, heart rate and other data. It's hard to look closely at spikes in that entire session view but can hit a drop down and change from entire session t...

Re: Looking for Advice

Your low numbers on the pulse oximeter seem to be very short spikes, with average spO2 of 97% and healthy resting heart rate I would not overly worry about that too much. Looks to me like most of the low O2 drops followed the short spike in heart rate which wonder you moved around, had a bad dream o...

Re: New here: mask injury, Oscar, etc

As an FYI one of the first things I was told, especially since I grow a beard in winter but shave in summer, that it's better to have an occasional leak than no leaks. This was at my first trip to sleep doctor to download information from my first machine and he noticed a sore on the bridge of my no...

Re: New here: mask injury, Oscar, etc

You asked if your data looked good or bad and was giving you an example of what bad looks like. Also was trying to be encouraging on the other benefits of weight loss even if it doesn't affect your apnea.

Re: No more CPAP for me!

I am 5' 10" and weigh 170 pounds and have the worst case of sleep apnea my specialist has ever seen. My diet is set up by a sports nutritionist and exercise like a fiend and at 57 am in better conditioning than most high school and many college atheletes. Never had apnea till suffered a head injury....

Re: Respironics DreamStation BiPAP autoSV H/HT/C,DS

Have been using SleepyHead and only log in here when something changes in my equipment or treatment so guess I need to download what seems to be what others are now using. Last night was my first night on the new machine and first couple hours were tough, woke up after 2.5 hours, went back to sleep ...

Re: My sleep Dr. Dropped me

My primary care who is also an internist won't write any sleep prescriptions, even for my Lunesta much less equipment as feels all of that is a specialists job. The issue is his group is a conglomerate with a sleep group, orthopedic group, cancer group, etc. If I think my leg is broken he won't even...
