Re: New AirCurve 10 S

Well I had a very bad first night with this new machine. I haven't had snoring in 5 years on my sleep report. I did last night. Seems I spent a lot of time in Large leak territory. If I was using the 760 machine I would have been fine. I am wondering if maybe getting this machine is a mistake? I sho...

There is no way around it.
You can have one or the other but not both when it comes to the large leak alarm or SmartStart (which is the auto on/auto off functions).
It's just the way ResMed decided to do things.
Thanks Pugsy!

New AirCurve 10 S

Having recently achieved my 5 year anniversary I called my health insurance provider carecentrix cigna, and asked if i qualified for new machine, and I did. Well today I received my new Bi-PAP AirCurve 10 S. My initial impression is that the size is the same like my PR System One 760., but I did not...

Take 15 minutes to review this youtube video:

This video put the whole thing in perspective for me.

It should be required viewing for any one who is new. I think it should answer your question.

Re: Anti bacteria cpap filter? What?

I have never had to up my pressure. Of course my pressure is so high I can't up the pressure on my machine. The filter is great especially during ragweed season. I am very allergic. My first year before I found out about the filters I had one sinus infection after the next, it was miserable. The fil...

Re: Seeking help with full face mask

I would suggest that you consider using the mask liners: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/remzzzs-full-face-cpap-mask-liners.html Also, there is a site called http://www.padacheek.com/ they are very popular also. They help to control leaking. I have to have high pressure for my therapy and leaks wer...

Re: Newbie Sleepyhead report feedback please!

Your reports looks sloppy.. I am thinking if take your 13 fixed pressure to 14 it should clean it up. I always say if you are going through the trouble of sleeping with the mask and machine you want your therapy to be the best it can be.

i wish you well.. :)

What does your sleep data show? That will tell the story. Are you using SleepyHead or Encore?

5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY Today, April 30 is my 5 year anniversary of being on bi-level cpap therapy. When I had my sleep study I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea with AHI of 140. Oxygen level dropped to 58%. I was in bad shape and thought I was dying. One of the things I really remember is how miser...

Re: Do you still visit your Dr. every year?

I've been at this 10+ years now and over that period over 98% compliant. Leaks appear ok ( if I get a smiling face on my machine I call it good ) and AHI 2.5 or less. If things are worse than that I load up sleepyhead. We moved a few years ago and I had to change suppliers and they wanted a new pre...
