It will take you to the blog if you copy and paste the address into your browser and then remove the extra space between the word blogger and .com before you hit enter. Tighten up the address and then it works fine.

Re: Question about masks

How long can you use a mask before changing to a new one? Your question is too vague to answer properly. Are you asking how often an insurer will pay for a replacement? Are you asking how long people can generally use a mask of a certain type before it is worn out enough to be ineffective? The answ...

I would buy one for $4.99.
The link you put up is for an SD Card. It is an SD Card Reader that is being asked about, not the card itself.

But the same protocol exists. Just type in SD Card Reader into Google, and you'll see all you want and more.

Re: Where A CPAP Newbie Should Start

I have been trying to find the place to fill out my profile; I am quite computer savvy, and have looked everywhere that I know to look.... help, please. Top left corner of the page in the pale blue bar about 1 inch wide, there is the "User Control Panel" Click on it, and then you will see various t...

Re: Are bathroom breaks registered as leaks?

Sorry, but I am a diabetic and need the bathroom usage as required. I am also a male diabetic. Before CPAP therapy, I also had an in-patient hospital surgical procedure known as a TURP. Google it if you want to know more. The bottom line here is that your frequent urinary nocturnal trips to the toi...

Re: Which is More Important - AHI or Sleep?

I have the same machine as yours. My first night of using it was on July 8, 2013, so I have been on it for about a half a year. It is my first and only CPAP machine. I was diagnosed back in June with an in hospital sleep study, and that study revealed an AHI of 39. That said, I find my PR system one...

Re: Cpap died while traveling

Maybe I'm being naive, and if so I'll accept any criticism to my comment. I don't quite see this as some sort of life or death emergency. Most of us had sleep apnea for years and years before we ever had a sleep study, were diagnosed, and put on CPAP therapy. Millions more of us have apnea and don't...

Re: Dry humidifier tank

I have the same unit as yours. I live in Minnesota. We have very dry air inside the house during winter months when the furnace is running so much of the time. I also keep my humidifier setting at "3", and for the past two months or so, my humidifier tank is just barely over the heating plate when I...

Re: Uncle Flappy's Journey

Just want to tell you of my history of sleep apnea. I was diagnosed with a sleep study on July 3, 2013 with an AHI of 39. On July 8, 2013 the doctor had my PR system one model 760 BiPap in my hands after a full hour of instructions for use of this machine by the DME (who was located in my physician'...

Re: New high tech bed stops snoring

Business section press releases are only a whisker away from an advertisement. The newspaper is offering a freebie in hopes of future ad revenue, or thanks for past ads. The media around here does it all the time. That certainly might be true, but I have also seen articles in the business sections ...

New high tech bed stops snoring

There is an article in today's edition of the Minneapolis StarTribune about a new Sleep Number bed that stops snoring, measures heart rate, and all sorts of other metabolic activities by the bed itself, with the sleeping person not wearing any wires, hoses, etc. Probably a limited market, as the pri...

Re: % of patients who do sleep studies NOT diagnosed with apnea

Denial kills; and there is nothing like support and education. "Claustrophobia" seems to be a common excuse when confronted with something they don't want to do. I wonder how many of these people are only "claustrophobic" around cpap machines. Actually, the woman I referred to is claustrophobic to ...
