Re: Do you cuddle your hose? Be honest, now

I cuddle my hose or it cuddles me I guess. It seems easier to keep positioned if I hang on to at least part of it. It is warm(heated) and soft and fuzzy(polar fleece). I just started CPap on November 24. I thought it would be impossible. The first hose and mask(wisp) were cold and crinkly or pinche...

Do you cuddle your hose? Be honest, now

I've had a few months of CPAP; I started in May and am deeply grateful to the members here for the help At first I had adjustment to getting my hose in place. Then I found that I would hold it all night just to make things easy I got used to holding it The hose is now a comfort accessory. I think I ...

Re: Husband won't keep CPap mask on

Even those of us with a proper sleep study, prescription, etc. have a period of adjustment. I took to CPAP right away and then had some adjustment and I'm back on the upswing with compliance.

Good luck!

Re: another sleepless night

i slept like a baby Hooray! Someone mentioned white noise, which is helpful in my household. There are free white noise apps for smart phones, or SimplyNoise for $0.99 which is an awesome and (true to its name) simple app. SimplyNoise also has a website with free white noise generator. Old AM radio...

I recently experienced a change like that. I started CPAP in May and took to it like a fish to water. Then last month I start waking up with BLUUUUUURP BOOOORP BLUP BLUP fart toot blurp fart. (That's what aerophagia sounds like in my world.) It seems that when my tummy is active, it happens. The air...

Remember, give yourself time to get used to it.

My first night was awesome! And many after that were as well. Most likely because the fine folk here had me well-educated by then

Re: changing Swift FX pillow size = aerophagia?

I just recently experienced a pattern of swallowing tons of air, although I do not think I altered my might-time habits much. Perhaps I have, as I've had a lot of early mornings lately. Boy is it getting annoying. Bluurrarrrppp! My wife is annoyed by it, too I will try moving my evening cutoff for o...
