Re: New Obamacare regs make CPAP ILLEGAL!

My first thought was "someone has too much time on their hands" My second thought was "chuckle,...a good laugh" My third thought was "where's the popcorn...wonder how long before this becomes a political debate" Good point about the popcorn which thanks to you, I now understand the significance of ...

Re: Just been diagnosed help this newbie

Buckeye614, I am guessing you are in central Ohio? Me too. Go bucks. There is a lot of info here for you but you can take it in little bites. Some people are more into data collection and analysis than others. I got an S9 elite and I have been sleeping better, so that works well enough for me. But i...

Re: Parts, Parts, and more parts, but never the ones I want

Crapria LOL I just spoke with the very friendly lady at my local office last week, to get six new filters and a new FX pillow. I received a giant box (mostly with air packaging) containing the pillow, FOUR filters, and one new hose that no one ever mentioned. So, yeah, I have an extra hose. And I a...

Re: Swift FX Pillows Maintenance

Thanks for reminding me--time to wash!

So far I am still using the pillow I got at the end of May with no problem. I must be lucky. I hope everyone else has success as well!

Have you trued out the smaller sizes at all?

I have only used the swift FX but have had almost no trouble with it moving

Re: Columbus Ohio Sleep Docs?

Dr. Marcus Schmidt, neurologist, north side Agreed. I have been treated by Dr. Roy in the same practice group. http://sleepmedicine.com/staff.cfm?doctor=4 The facility is decent and the care and response I have had were great. Dr. Roy handed me my sleep study document before even discussing what I ...

Thanks, guys

I guess really my question is, "how dirty is too dirty?" How do I know its effectiveness is impaired? Ta

ResMed S9 Filter schedule

Understanding that YMMV, I am curious how often do you S9 users change your filters?

I'm fairly new to this. I went more than 2 months without thinking about it. I changed it last night and the one I pulled out was yucky. Not super-horrible but with a dog and two cats, might have changed sooner.

Madalot, if it works for you, that's awesome.

I mean, I'm still silently judging anyone who has different needs, tastes or preferences. But I'll try to be polite

OK, I'll admit it, I'm a judgmental coffee snob.

Now don't even get me started on articial "creamer."

Re: Swallowing air

Hoo, boy. I had my first experience with this in the wee hours this morning. I woke up with a giant belch rumbling up, and went "BLUUUUuuuUUuuuurrrrrrrrp. Bluuurp. Blurp." And then "PPPFFFFFT" out the other end. Then I played a little two-part counterpoint for a while, like a short classical chamber...

Re: OT -- Coffee: it is an awesome thing

I have an irrational hatred for those "cup" machines. Or maybe it's rational based on the price per pound. I use a cone with fresh, locally-roasted beans. Currently sipping on Biker Blend from these fine folks: http://www.backroomcoffeeroasters.com/ There is something so satisfying about pouring the...
