Re: EPR Setting on RESMED Elite
Check the video in my signature ... I believe your model has a similar menu to the S9 Autoset.

Re: Lincare "Ethics" (irony in quotes)
So I almost own my S9 autoset, which Lincare has negotiated a price of $1,040 with my insurance carrier for. Although there's about 50% profit already, that is not enough for Lincare. Their actual bill to me (not what my EOB says) is for 50% of $1,260! So they want me to pay $630 for a 50% share of ...

definately ask your dentist but i'm going to guess that since CPAP is forced air IN, it is not suction.

Re: Feeling a little jerked around by suppliers
Know everything up front when choosing a DME and get it in writing. LINCARE has been over-billing me on each and every invoice. Most recently trying to bill me $630 for my (50%) share of the CPAP purchase, which based on my confirmed and documented quote on day 1 should really be $230. The good news...

Re: Noisy ResMed CPAP - driving my wife crazy - DME not helpful
I too have the S9 and it is quieter than a baby's breath. I agree with some of the above that it's either a leak or the surface. I keep mine on a short piece of that rubber mesh shelf liner people use for keeping their dishes from sliding. This also helps to keep my machine stable on the night stand...

Re: Swift FX Pillows Maintenance
I have been alternating between two pillows every day to give the washed one an extra day to dry out. This seems to be working out better. Thanks for the suggestions.

Cpap.com beats my local DME pricing too. Significantly!

Re: Humidifier above or below head?
I had some rainout on vacation when the machine was a couple inches above my head. At home its a few inches below the mattress and I never have condensation issues - even with A/C cranked. I don't use a hose hanger but that's a good point to consider.

1. No more snoring. 2. No more morning headaches. 3. No more afternoon lethargy. 4. No more fight-or-flight dreams (nightmares). 5. Greater focus and productivity at work. 6. Body recovers from exercising normally allowing me to resume my regimen - and weight loss goals. 7. Neck stiffness/soreness h...

Re: Setback - Help Please
Slept well after the reality check here. I donned foam ear plugs and those phony CAs went away and I slept my normal night with AHI < 1. Thanks again!

Re: Setback - Help Please
Thank you all. All this time and I never realized I could get that much info off the S9 menu (CA breakdown, 95% pressure, etc). I checked out daily and week data and it turns out therapy is normal except for an avg of 1.2-1.5 CAs this week. So yeah, seems to be simply environmental - different bed a...

Setback - Help Please
So the past week I've been in Cape Cod, MA. My AHI has been 2-ish every night. I'm normally .3-.8 and I'm experiencing a little energy each day. I don't have my SD Card reader so I have no clue what my data shows. No dry mouth so mouth-breathing unlikely. Brand new nasal pillows so doubtful that's t...
