Box of free used masks -Update - they have been claimed
Hi, Folks, I have a box full of used and unused masks that I would like to give away if anyone wants it. Over the years I have tried so many masks but had such a hard time finding the perfect one. I always saved old masks because on any given night I never knew if a mask would just give up on me and...

Re: Aircurve 10 vauto question - new user
Thank you, Fifth Avenue and Pugsy! I got the manual prior to posting so I wouldn't waste anybody's time. That was how I was able to access Essential Plus so I could see my data and also I wanted to check up on what they had set things at as well as blower hours etc. (Wanted to make sure I had a new ...

Aircurve 10 vauto question - new user
Hi, Folks, I just got my new machine this week and I am exploring it. I really like it; it is much quieter than my old one which was an ASV. I have been able to access the clinical menu so I can see what they have done but I haven't quite been able to figure some things out. The green light on the s...

Re: ASV set to bipap mode? and a couple of questions
Thank you, ajack! I'm going to try the settings and see how it goes. It will be interesting to see what the doctor actually recommends - he's a cpap user himself so he has an understanding about this that I suspect most sleep doctors do not.
Best,
Sandra

Re: ASV set to bipap mode? and a couple of questions
Thanks so much for your response and explanations, Pugsy! It's really helpful. Last night was the first time during a sleep study that I actually slept apparently for much of the night with a lot of REM. I woke up a lot but managed to fall back to sleep. This is my 5th sleep study over the years and...

ASV set to bipap mode? and a couple of questions
Hi, Folks, I have lost close to 70 pounds in little over a year and as I have done so I also have been doing Bikram yoga and getting personal training. As a result I am getting healthier and have been able to reduce the handful of meds I was taking to 1 pill - 5mgs. of lisinopril. My last RA factor ...

Re: ASV pressure question
Wow, thanks for all the information, JDS74! I will see if I can download the latest Encore tomorrow and hone in better. I did notice the regular breathing which read 14 but when I had flow limitations it said 12, the snores were 0 or 2. I thought it was rather odd when there was a cluster of snores ...

Re: ASV pressure question
Good idea! I haven't pulled the card out of the machine in quite some time but now that I have new motivation to delve into this a little more I guess I need to develop a new habit.

Re: ASV pressure question
Thanks, PR. It's a little easier to navigate Sleepyhead this time around, but it doesn't help much when I leave my card in the computer. :D I'm going to monitor for a couple of days and hope to spot something. It's amazing to me how complex the program is and I'm in awe of someone who was able to co...

Re: ASV pressure question
Thanks, Zonker! I found the SD card in the computer this morning. I stuck it back into the ASV and then later imported into Sleepyhead. After reading some of the Sleepyhead tutorials I think the issue was it wasn't in the machine all night. I have never locked or unlocked the SD card. It came with t...
