Re: New and sealed Airfit P10 for sale

The death must be public and brutal so that the PC police get the point across. Its the only way that the rest of us will truly understand the error of our ways. They must make an example of you!

Re: New and sealed Airfit P10 for sale

*cough*cheaper on amazon*cough* palerider... perfect example of your junior high school behavior. You simply could have said something like... if you check it out on Amazon you will see that they offer the same mask for less money. Perhaps you should consider selling for less if you'd like to sell ...

Re: Pulse oximeter

I just bought a 550D this week and the directions really stink. You need to open up the program first then push the button to turn the meter on. This sounds a little strange but a few times i could only get the data by having it on my finger to keep it on.

Hope this helps, Dan

Re: Bipap is working as a ventilator

That is the sad part RT is managing it. When I questioned the mask fit and said it was leaking too much to be effective the RT explained that it was by design and tried to show me the vent on the mask. When I said that 114 was far above the designed leak rate for the mask and suggested that he shoul...

Re: Bipap is working as a ventilator

Hi Dan, Sorry your brother is so sick. There are machines that are capable of ventilation. Noninvasive Ventilation is the phrase used for that. They aren't a regular BiPap but one with a back up rate and enough pressure to promote better ventilation. The Respironics BiPap asv advanced and the AVAPS ...

Bipap is working as a ventilator

My brother is in ICU and two of three Dr's and a nurse said that the bipap was doing the breathing for him.

When 02 sats are down they just up the pressure.

Re: Has anyone tried these mask liners . . .

I tried Remzzzs and they worked ok. I let the DME bill insurance company and they are coded the same as a cushion, $109.00 was billed to the insurance and it was adjusted to $74.99. I had not reached my copays yet so I had to pay $74.99 for something that I could purchase for $24.99 locally. I learn...

Re: full sleep study report/data disappeared

My reports were only 2 pages long and reviewed by different Sleep Dr's. While I wanted more data, I decided to leave that battle for another day and move forward with treatment. I started out being a real PITA with Dr. and DME, when I toned it down a little bit they both became much easier to work w...

Congrats.
Wish I knew what caused the 0.0, the only thing that was different is that my wife made a chocolate cake from scratch.

Try getting a Dr. to prescribe that.

Re: Sometimes It Takes a Doctor

Never met a sleep Dr. after I had 2 sleep studies, noticed that there was a different Dr.on the 2 studies. PCP prescribed a brick and after 3 bad months and a successful test on an APAP he wrote a new prescription for an APAP. I started reading this forum and learned how to understand the data and t...

Thank you for the replies, I have sent a pm to Miss Lilly. The ones on Crigs list in the area are pretty expensive, people are trying to recover the DME list price.

Re: My Husbands Cpap Adventure

This whiny old fart couldn't keep the mask on until I found the right pressure, that took about 4 months and a change to APAP. After many different pressure changes I made one more change and went from 4-5 hrs per night with the mask on to 9.5 the first night. My average is almost 7 now.
