OT: ResMed Mirage Softgel Cushion LG (61633)

For some reason unbeknownst to me, I have amassed a rather large collection of these "cushions". I see them on eBay for $19 (plus shipping?), but I will give some of them away -- you pay postage -- to a good home.

Please contact me by instant message (we have those here, don't we?)

The norm is to use all or almost all of the water in the res. My concern is those nights when I use almost no water.

Re: Humidifier Reservoir

The humidity in the air, the temp in the room. Several things can change the amount of water that is used during the night. We don't think too much about the humidity in the air unless you have a way to monitor it. A rainy day will be different then if it has been dry for a week The temp doesn't ch...

Humidifier Reservoir

I think that my signature has all the info about my CPAP etc. Lately, I've found some strange behavior around my humidifier. Even though the CPAP is on about the same number of hours each night (5.5-6.5) the amount of water left in the reservoir varies from almost empty to 3/4 full. I haven't change...

Re: CPAP has wrong time of day

The link to your machine is broken because your machine has now officially been discontinued and replaced by a newer model. That's the way it seems to be with all the discontinued equipment. Just manually type it in your comments section of your profile. What is the newer model? Which software are ...

CPAP has wrong time of day

RemStar 560P with A-Flex. (Don't know why it doesn't show up in the footer!)

The times recorded are 12 minutes off from actual. How do I fix that?

Thanks.

Re: Troubleshooting

Thanks anyway. As this is an intermittent problem and the device is never moved, I doubt that it has anything to do with contacts. that's why I suspect the contacts. electrical plug contacts such as used between the circuit board and wiring, and between the two machine halves can develop resistance...

Re: Troubleshooting

my *guess* is that it'd be in the control module in the cpap, not in the humidifier... but that's nothing more than a guess. it also could be because of iffy connections, try removing and replacing the humidifier half a couple times, to make sure the contacts between the two units are clean and mak...
